I watched the 2nd episode of Strike Witches Road to Berlin and it was so great. I remembered why I love this series.

Started my rewatch of Inuyasha, on Episode 18 now and I'm liking Kagome more than I did than when I first watched this, girls got some spunk and is strangely courageous/adoptive to the situation she got thrown into. Sango still gonna be #1 for me though. Miroku is as perverted as I remember

 

Yeah, I remember Kagome was extremely hated in the fandom for being one of the most annoying characters who won't stop complaining but in reality she was one of the better characters of her archetype at the time.

 

American TV spot for lupin theatre release. They show more of the comedy parts.

 

After finishing the Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut light novels, I decided to watch the anime again. The characters are so funny.

 

She was like that in like 4 episodes, but that was balanced out by how quick she was willing to stick her neck out or do something most current people would consider bat-shot crazy so I'd give it a pass. Sango just finally showed up and damn, kinda forgot about some of the details on what happened with her and her family.

Towa acts more like Inuyasha then Sesshoumaru lol

 

Damn. Rest in power. Such a classic series.

Uh, I watched that Dragon's Dogma anime recently.

I wished I'd replayed the game again instead. Aside from Hannah's (the Pawn) character growth over the series it felt like a tremendous waste of time. Plus, she's a Magic Archer, which is always neat.

Baby's first introduction to the sins of man, and completely missing the point of the game it's based on. Some decent animation from the human models, but the monsters needed work.

Finished Rent-A-Girlfriend. I enjoy light-hearted comedy anime but maaaaaan its been a while since I've seen a show where I hated the main character this much. Such a spineless protagonist.

 

So what you're saying is...this show ain't worth it?
I've been holding of on this show because other than cute girls I don't see the appeal, is it at least funny?

 

I started Macross 7, Bakemonogatari and Strike the Blood last night.

 

This week's Majo no Tabitabi really reminded me of Kino's Journey.

 

it's good for what it is. The MC is coming off a breakup by his 1st girlfriend (which was best for him imo, I do not like Mami, nobody should) and rents Mizuhara, Manga-only coincidences ensues as MC, as much of a virgin Stuart he is, balances stupidity-typical-Romance-MC moves, with "Oh, so he does have a backbone, and a conscience afterall?" moments. He grows as the story goes on, does some really nice things, but the wishy-washy behaviour can drive a lot of people mad. I'm a fan of the manga ( I hate it went from monthly to weekly, drags on too much now) so I'm probably bias. Going purely by your reply, you will either not like it because it's just not your type of show, or go in with such a low bar that the female characters will at least help you finish it, depending on whether Mami is your type or not  

At ep.33 of Inuyasha, nowadays, they'd end this series within 5 episodes of them by somehow getting stronger together, fighting Naraku and miraculously winning with the power of friendship and/or love and that'd be it, so I'm curious as to how they continue on for 150+ more episodes. Kagome is turning into the lovestruck damsel type that I never like and for the love of all, Sango, just rest up so you're 100% already. Also wtf are you doing, Kikyo?

Meanwhile in Yashahime, Moroha got her dad's nose, as she figured out their dad being Sesshoumaru, but they sure keeping the mom of the twins a secret huh? Also, that preview!! Again,

The gut punch is real although I feel the first part happened too fast for me, the second one I can kinda see the twist but it still hurts when you know it.

 

I sort of called the ending of the first when the camera panned on the chimney...

This show, really. First two episodes are more light-hearted then it hits us with this.

 

Out of nowhere even, I was expecting another light hearted episode with light drama before they pulled that kind of thing.
