I wish for a transformers roleplaying game, we could play as any transformers characters from any generation and movie and the ability to create characters and make your own base, a great place for making machinimas, you can do missions, you can explore Cybertron and earth and other planets that's in the transformers series, it would be on the computer, it would be 3D game, I'm I not the only one that wishes for a roleplaying transformers game?
A Transformers-themed MMO which uses mechanics similar to High Moon's War for Cybertron games would be interesting. But it may need to be a bit more limited in scope; either we get a few key locations on several different planets, or we get one or two wide, open planets. Personally, I'd like to see a larger, more action and objective oriented game similar to PlanetSide, where players choose to represent either the Autobots or Decepticons, and do battle over various locations on Cybertron in a persistent world. Capturing strategic objectives, such as Energon caches or gun emplacements, would grant a player's faction a more tangible advantage in the war, while capturing political or cultural objectives would award victory points towards one faction or the other winning the war for Cybertron; if one side manages to achieve victory, the map resets and both sides try again.
Sounds neat, another I would like to see would one similar to Lego dimensions, but with a few different transformers series explaining how a dark new evil had Rosen and threaten the whole multi verse and destroy it all, there would be special figures somewhat like that attacktix that you can scan into the game, some would connect shorter stories that takes place during the events of the game a small group of random transformers to find out what's been happening and would be scene as easter eggs throw out the main game
They already tried the "toys to life" thing with RID 2015; you could scan each figure's insignia to unlock them in the game. It didn't really work out, and on top of that the whole "toys to life" gimmick has effectively lost all its popularity. Additionally, we already had a "multiverse-threat" game in the form of Rise of the Dark Spark, which was critically panned since it was very poorly made.
I think an open world game that combines the best parts of the PS2 TF game, the DS Movie games and the WFC games would he awesome. I feel we never had a good Transformers game that was open and took advantage of their abilities. The closest we got to that was the First movie game on consoles, but even that was flawed.
Personally, I'd like an open world game set on earth, I know the general feeling about transformers on earth is... mixed these days. But I do have a reason. 1. Scale, when you're on Cybertron, or another of the Transformer worlds everything is scaled to them, the only setting where we truly get the feeling of being giant is on earth. 2. Stealth/Alt form usage: there are 2 big taglines to the transformers franchise 'More than Meets the Eye' and 'Robots in Disguise', but honestly I think the 07 DS games are the only ones I can think of where stealth really mattered, even in the console game the military response was more of an irritant, I want the idea that you are Hiding, and would be in danger if you were to walk around in robot mode. It'd also help to push transformation into a central role, whereas honestly, most of the time in the existing games, save for flying centered missions, Transformation feels more like a gimmick than anything (that's if the game bothers to include it at all)
