Does anyone remember how long after the preorders went up that Amazon put the recent ER and SS waves on sale? Hoping for something similar to happen with Kingdom and SS this upcoming year.

Amazon JP had PO up for MP Starscream? I thought it was only 3rd party sellers.

There seems to be some confusion about this, but, yes, AJP had a proper PO for MP Starscream. It was up for maybe half an hour? I don’t know, but I managed to get one.

For the love of your balanced budget, don't do it. I could see spending 200+ on a MP Conehead remold of Starscream 3.0, but not for a CHUG 2-pack of voyager coneheads, especially ones not even that old yet. You might want them that badly, but you don't need them that badly.

It might be disappointing to not get the figures you want, but it's more financially beneficial to exercise restraint.

Don't do it. I'm sure there will be something else you'd rather drop that sort of money on. Nice figures, but not $200 nice.

On Thursday Oct. 9th, there was a po for MP-52 that was up for about an hour. Was able to snag one before AMJ took it down.

Would either of you be able to confirm your price on these? Just curious since they've put it up again but is quite a bit more expensive than I was expecting. As mentioned, they will likely discount, but if you can confirm your price, it may give us an idea of where it will discount to (assuming your price is better).

Hmm not much of a difference with pulse then. I'll stick with pulse since it's easier to cancel I don't like the lock in date with ajp sometimes.

I got mine in and right now it's $318.69. I too hope the price goes down, way down.

Yeah, really strange on pricing. I have an order with Pulse as well and honestly would love to continue to support them. However, AJ is my go to for anything coming out of Japan, and they're usually much cheaper (they crush prices for anything Macross, and generally MP TFs). So, I'm surprised by the current price.

Everyone's post explaing the retailer environment was sooo long (for good reason) so I will have to go back and read more in detail but here's my 2 cents.
    - When we say "retailers", to Hasbro it's really just Walmart, maybe Amazon and the rest. BBTS is the Professor of retailers. Time will tell whether Pulse is Ginger or Mary Ann.
    - Given my experience in manufacturing, the retailers barely communicated with their suppliers (i.e. Hasbro) on top of not understanding or caring.
    - Therefore, Hasbro may have a bunch of internal statistics but no real consumer end data.
    - The wave system, changing out lines constantly and other things are partly a result of dumbing it down for the retailers. End-of-line syndrome is a natural result.
    - And at the end of the day it's common for retailers (and consumers) to keep demanding more for less which is why Hasbro has to make ultimate decision what to include and what to cut. And what to cut includes engineering, material, size and the easiest to cut. . .quality control.
    - COVID also threw everything even more off.
