Fear of the unknown probably. I've been really happy with TFS-Express customer service etc. Plus I know it's the price. AE does run the customs gauntlet, and if they mark down what's my recourse if it's lost? Do they take the hit and just send a new one? Too many ifs, buts and ands.

So if 30% gets slapped on thats roughly £176.45p

Is everyone sure that AJP price is going to drop? This is a significant gamble for me.

 

Anime Export are good for the U.K. in my experience. Bought most of my MPs from them and they mark the value down which keeps the customs leeches from slapping fees on.

It normally works out £20/30 cheaper than Kapow and that’s a good chunk of change added up over multiple figures/purchases.

 

nope not at all i live in the uk and i have never ever had import fee's with anime export i have used them since 2010 and ask anyone else in the uk that use them and they will tell you the same .. for example mp49 cost me £143.43 plus £19.34 shipping got to me in 3 days with no import fee's

anime export mark it down to avoid the fee's

not sure if it's lost but it's very rare to be heard of anime export parcels being lost , i have used them on and off since 2010 with no problems

 

If I had the money I would definitely go with them

Priced it all up and AJP is not the way to go for me.

Went with Nippon Yassan like I usually do, works out at £197 shipped if I pay in Yen & I have the pay later option.
Have a few XP points over there, so those will also add up for a future discount.
Never been hit with import fees yet, so fingers crossed.

So far in 2021 I'll be getting MP52 & MP44 if they reissue him.

Gonna guess MP 53 will be Waspinator
We'll be due a new carbot so I recon they will finally drop either Mirage or Jazz as 54 before years end.

i would never go with nippon again i asked to cancel an order once think it was mp ratchet because i couldn't pay for it and they closed my account out of spite even tho i explained my current situation at that time... shit thing was i had ordered stuff in the past too

Amazon price will go down and there's a whole host of other Japanese retailers offering him for well below MSRP. He can easily be had for under $200 USD.

Holy Hell AMJP, you finally relist and open up preorders only to be at max full price. I’ll wait for the price drop otherwise I’m canceling. I’ve been asking others who routinely order from AmJP and they confirm the tax thing is happening so I’m not sure what’s up.

 

He'll be about 200 at Amazon unless we get a really fat PO discount. As it does look like were getting taxed now. Hopefully well get a shipping readjust at least to the 2300 or so like Prime and Dinobot were.
