Yeah, I prefer the black version's head, but I like the details that pop on the red one just a bit more. If he's fun to transform, I might breakdown and look for another.

 

Yeah that's what I thought too but then @williammmw posted this pic from TW's WeChat a few pages back which appears to show the cool mask face for red as well! And his normal face isn't red in it either, it looks much cooler to me.

I know. He's just about 20 to 30 euros more than I would have liked to pay for him.
Then again, it's not a price I can't get over. We all thought we'd had to buy four figures some of us didn't really care about to get him after all.
We'll see. If I can talk myself out of buying SS Kup because of his face sculpt and it turns out Blurr has the same problem I'll have saved the hurdle. Who am I kidding, as long as there aren't Targetmasters of those guys they're not gonna replace my Takara Legends versions.

That's crazy! Is it the same one that we got parts from the bumblebee and the other figure? I got two limbs already, it's pretty small.

 

Colour me tempted for one. Into the mid $100s is probably my limit but I love the concept of this.

Price is made accordingly. The more people declare here they're willing to pay X, the more price will sky rocket. That's really simple.

 

Went in on Red Barron, definitely feels expensive. But Starscream is a fave character and this rendition appears too good to pass up  

 

Yep definitely not getting one. Irregardless of the quality, that much for a voyager-sized figure of a design that technically never existed is way too much. If it were cheap I'd be willing to dip my toe into this line but no go so far. It's a shame because now I'm certain that their Barricade (the one I want the most) is gonna feel way too expensive too.

 

I might go for one at ShowZ’s price. I allow myself to overspend on things here and there if it’s something I really like, and Starscream here is a figure I’ve been drooling over for almost two years now.

 

Barricade is $76 at ShowZ. It's the only figure I'm getting from this line, and I'm only getting it because I'm a collector of Barricades, and it looks like an excellent rendition.

There's a lot of complicated stuff going on there for his size.

 

Compared to Bee this looks like a fun toy to transform. A real nice and quick transformation vid.
That cheesy angry teen pop-rock on the other hand got muted real quick.

 

Like Bulldog, Hot Rod and Barricade's alt modes don't really appeal to me. But I think I'll buy this. I wanna keep supporting this line and like I said before: I hope they'll come up with original designs of Transformers with novel period alt modes once the TLK well runs dry.

 

That looks amazing. I got a taste of the transformation with the arm and leg parts that came with Bulldog and Bee and they gave me high hopes for the rest. I’ve actually transformed the arm part several times because it’s so fun.

 

That's an impressive transformation for sure. And it looks like everything tabs in really nicely in both modes.
