That’s not really Jiu-Jitsu, but this looks like some good old-fashioned stupid fun. It’s like if someone mixed up the script of Predator with a fantasy martial arts movie. Say what you will about Nicolas Cage, but even a lot of his bad performances are entertaining. Marie Avgeropoulos is in this too, and she’s always nice to look at.
He’s really a bit underrated when you think about it. He’s given some really great performances before. However, he’s done so many schlocky movies though that it’s hard not to think of his more meme-able roles. Still, I like that he hams it up for movies that would otherwise be highly forgettable
It's a bold move to title your movie Jiu Jitsu and then feature fighting that is not Jiu Jitsu. It's bewildering to see that level of ignorance regarding martial arts in the year 2020.
Even by budget knockoff standards this looks cheap. Aliens of the week on Star Trek looked better than this crappy predator knockoff. Also after Predators, is Predator really a franchise anyone wants to rip off?
