That’s kinda along the lines I’d heard. Apparently the scientist working for the client wore a uniform with something reminiscent of Kamino, and they were going to study baby Yoda to try to build a viable new body for Palpatine that could live for centuries like Yoda’s; and that Gideon was part of the Sith Eternal or whatever. The midichlorians could factor into it all the same.

Hungarian webshops even completely dropped the whole "The Child" moniker and are selling the toys as Baby Yoda.
At this point likely Disney has no choice and really make him a reincarnation of Yoda.

Looks like the Imperial Troop Transport is getting in on the action.

 

Little disappointing. I expected more.

 

Probably all the shots are from the first few episodes.

 

Enjoying all the trailers and spots and all! Part of me is happy they're not showing too much...but part of me would like a little tease of Boba. But all the shots and visuals look gorgeous, and I'm excited to see how the story progresses. I can't believe it's less than two weeks away.

 

I kinda just want to see Ahsoka just to know she's actually in the show, since I don't actually think she was ever confirmed? I also hope Temura Morrison is playing more than just Boba.

 

Hmm, now I'm curious if she'll still have her white lightsabers...

 

That’s her Season 7 design. You can tell by the headband, gauntlets, and lightsabers. (She discarded them at the end of the show and made new ones later) It’s just been made “realistic” to fit with the rest of the packaging art style. Plus her markings and head tails aren’t accurate to her age in Mando. (She’d be like forty-something, so she’d look more like Shaak-Ti in terms of length)

 

So that's not Rosario Dawson costumed as Ahsoka then? I don't know a single thing about her (the character or the show) - I just thought we were looking at Rosario decked out in what would presumably be her Mandalorian look based on the way some other sites were losing their minds over it.
