TJ Maxx is selling the jet pair for $6, so what the hell why not get them to go with Airwave



Airwave's arm articulation isn't the best. His elbows are cubes as are his shoulders and forearms, so the arms get locked up a bit. And the shoulders are literally just the peg and socket, nothing more. I guess maybe it's all for added stability in base modes, but it makes the bot kinda dull.

Whisper fits on the aircraft carrier runway nicely, Stormcloud has just enough room to fit. But I dunno what happened, Airwave isn't flat on the ground here. I guess it might've been like that before and I just chalked it up to not being that familiar with the mold, but Airwave's hips are meant to go under the tarmac in a specific way with the feet folded up. With the feet down the hips can't peg in all the way, so it's all a bit of a mess that's hidden since the runway's able to stay flat.

Not quite as iconic as the Siege line up, but you sure get some moody boys with your ER Cons.

 

My only problem with Prime Starscream is that he's just too good. A lot of other Prime toys can happily co-exist within CHUG, but Starscream is so Starscream he can't be repurposed as a different character, and can't quite usurp the G1 guy. I've got the Dark Energon variant, and even in Skywarp colours he still radiates Intense Starscream Vibes. Fantastic robot mode though. Jet mode is a bit kibbley, but the robot is perfection.
