I wonder who else is left to add for this subline for Studio Series.
Several of these are rest of the Dinobots and I have a feeling we won't have a complete set and yes,Snarl had little to no screen time but he was in the movie and he deserves a Studio Series figure as well.Since Hasbro did characters from the live action movies that were just background with no names until now and had little screen time so it gives me hope for characters in the 86 movie to appear.Sure many will disagree with me but this subline should continue with a mix of live action characters in it.I still want the Fallen and other live action characters.

Well... shit. There goes my momentary re-interest in this then. Dinobots are an all-or-nothing deal for me - I stopped tolerating that "just some" nonsense years ago.

I promise you, just wait a couple of years, and they will get around to him sooner or later.

Heh, I also don't do that anymore either. I've been waiting "just a couple years" since 2011 for various Masterpieces that were "definitely on tap"... that still never materialized amidst a second aesthetic change reboot. Experience has proven that IF they do get to Snarl several years later, he also won't match the rest being released now. I'm just gonna pass - it'll be easier in the long run.

also, don't get me wrong, there is a lot of places where they improved the designs overall in the 'toon (ahem, Ironhide/Ratchet, proportions on guys like Frenzy and Rumble and the Seekers) and I'd much rather think of those models as the ideal, but not at the expense of following with the low/no detailing when it comes to panel lines (the new MP Starscream is just disgusting to me) or emulating decos that were simplified where things were chrome/gold on the toys ~ it usually looks cheap and crappy. Most of ER nails the balance for me, but then you have Smokescreen's overly smooth head and Hoist's white parts...)

Well, that's G1 cartoon Grimlock all-right... meaning that he has goofy colors and proportions. Will still get it since I have fond memories of the original toy.

At least Jazz and Blurr look pretty good.

    • Still hyped for the official reveal so I can see these toys in more detail
    • We still have yet to see Gnaw, Grindor, Jolt, ROTF Bumblebee, and Dino

I can understand why, but I really wanted Grimlock to be in metallic colours, because we've not really ever had any decent "CHUG" scale Dinobots.

Hope it gets recoloured later on.

There's a bunch of really good 3rd party MP dinobots if you're aching for a complete set! Far better than the official MP, even.

I know he has 5 very minor appearances in the movie, but I hope they do Snarl. (As well as the rest of the squad.)

I'd form an opinion on these (Scourge and Kup notwithstanding, considering their figures got leaked), but the picture quality has the consistency of fried chicken, so I really can't right now. Figures look nice though, from what's available.

I guess that's the one downside of trying to be "Less Toy accurate, more Show Accurate." with these kinds of molds.
