Hoping the yellow on Grimlock is painted under translucent plastic like the gold on POTP Grimlock(but not tied to any joint mechanism which can cause cracks). The inverse detail shown by painting the underside of translucent plastic on POTP Dinobots was a neat effect and approximation of what was done with the G1 Dinobot toys.

If this Grimlock doesn’t come with a sword, I would be willing to wait for a repaint with a sword in addition to a gun and crown and done up in G1 toy colors with the smokey translucent plastic with plated gold paint underneath.

 

I understand. I’m not much of a marvel person but I ddI think about that after the fact. I think my issue is mostly with the trilogies rather than the Generations brand as a whole. I just want a new name at some point lol.

 

Actually I was reading though. It will likely be a pack made later. But from reading through the pages it says Grimlock never used a sword in the show except in 1 episode in season 3 and it doesn’t even look like his sword, and he doesn’t use it in the movie. So hopefully it will be part of a future accessory pack later.

 

Other than the generations tag argument I think there is no fighting on here....... a rare sighting indeed

Well, each line does have it's own name. Since Generations started we've had Generations, Fall of Cybertron, Thrilling 30, Combiner Wars, Titans Return, Power of the Primes, WFC Siege, WFC Earthrise, WFC Kingdom, Generations Selects and Studio Series all bearing the branding. The name changes nearly every year, there's no need to change the one consistent thing about it.

tried to do a bit of image upscaling, stabilising and removing some compression artifacts.. not sure if they really look that much better but hey

 

Man, the quality if this image really sucks, I couldn't decide if it's just the perspective, warped or both at once. Tried my best to make a better looking picture, as I wasn't pleased with the previous tries. But having tried it myself, I noticed the image quality is so bad, that it really is hard to see the pixels in that blurry mess. You'd think it's easy with the grid, but the grid is sooo blurry...

Anyway, here's my take on trying to improve the image

1. Total and heavy PP remold.
2. New mold from scratch.

 

Can't argue that Jazz packaging has something evil going on there.

 

i know he barely used it in the show but grimlock's sword is kinda like prime's axe where they existed in a one off scene and yet are very iconic to the characters so even if he or the other dinobots barely used swords in the cartoon i d be completely be fine if Hasbro includes swords with some of the dinobots, i heard people suggest a weapon pack but i haven't heard a leaker hint that
