Imagine a Studio series 86 Optimus prime LoL even if it’s way better than the earthrise people would be pissed that they gotta replace theirs again
I thought something looked off with the Grimlock but didn't know what so I looked up the other toys. The yellow looks weird, it's always been gold on recent toys and that looks way better. Yellow is accurate to the cartoon but I don't like it. Also the colours on the legs they are too big and blocky.. and the proportions are bad because his arms are way too long or I guess his legs are too short. His shoulder width is also really narrow when it's usually shown as being very wide. I'm shocked the POTP Grimlock looks better than this I am so disappointed. I think another character got screwed by being forced to be G1 toon accurate even though the design has changed and improved since then.
My pocketbook is sobbing in a corner. I plan on buying ALL of them, even Roddy (I cannot believe I just said that). Jazz and Blurr may be bought in doubles.
I can understand if Hasbro has only four of the dinobots planned so far. You only get so many BIG toys per year. But honestly folks aren't gonna stop asking until it happens so I think there's very little chance we won't get all 5 eventually. -ZacWilliam, just curious if the missing guy is Swoop because he's smaller or Snarl cause he's barely in the film. (if it was said earlier I missed it.)

I enhanced the stretched picture and i think he should look like this, since kup looks too "compressed" in that picture. We thought the ss69 devastator set was fake because it was compressed too. Spoiler: Full picture See how Kup proportions are fine here

Wow, that's a lot of figures I want. My only complaint based off these photos is the use of Yellow instead of gold on Grimlock but I understand these are trying to representative of the movie not the toys.
Hot dam they look great I can’t wait to see better pics of these guys ie jazz & so on! Dam you hasbro I never thought I would buy SS line but these 86 line is just awesome!! I’m going to be so dam broke!!
I hate those Grimlock legs. They look like a ten year old drew them with a ruler and colored them with markers in art class. Absolutely no details whatsoever. Why cant they recreate what the cartoon was trying to emulate without the red tape ? ( cartoon budget, artist time constraints, lack of CGI tech) Instead they make him look like a f**king drawing.
I waited all this time for a Cyclonus...and now I fear I am going to fall right into Hasbro's hands with this set. Their release of a more film-accurate Springer in the last few years had me splurge on him, and now that these are coming at us in more movie-accurate representations...then again, it does make sense since they are leading up to the release of the HasLab Unicron being shipped out.
