    I'm torn on these.

Obviously, that's the best Hot Rod ever, and Scourge is now properly in scale with most other recent Generations figures (I still really like the old Generations Deluxe, though).

But - I'm really quite satisfied with my existing RTS Jazz, Generations Kup and Generations Blurr. And Grimlock I think is *too* cartoon accurate, I far prefer the gold of the POTP figure to the yellow here, even if he is bigger.

Great.  Now Hasbro has nothing new to show us this FF Friday.  Way to spoil the fun a little early guys.  :(

...man, I wish they had sold these five years ago instead of the figures that were compromised by unwanted gimmicks...and that I paid money for and now have on my shelf...

be mindful of who you're replying to, because I'm not the one that made the "original snarky reply". However it's fully possible that Jazz isn't licensed and is instead just close to the G1 alt mode without being an actual recreation of it. It's impossible to tell without seeing either the vehicle mode itself or licensing branding on the box

Polar Claw originally was getting in the line instead of Tigatron, and IIRC there were no polar bears in BW. Plus, they could expand the line to include Beast Machine characters like Strika and Obsidian, since Kingdom's "plot" is abusing time travel so hard you have G1 guys going back in time to the Beast Wars, and reintroducing the vehicons means getting all the Generals and their drone repaints.

Great news! I noticed that while the boxes are Studio Series style, all of them are numbered "86".

    Damn :lol
Grimlock looks good, but went from being always undersized to almost too big!
Will be excited to see better pics as this is clearly distorted...

It these come out in waves without any Bayformer garbage (oops, repeated myself), I might be tempted to buy a full case/set.

I’ve never been into the backdrops in the live action SS packaging, but these, look super awesome!

I don’t quite get why Blurr’s backdrop looks to be the inside one of the Autobot escape ships; I don’t remember him having a scene while in the ship?

and looks like poor Jazz got the inside of Unicron‘s head? (Or could be Moon base 2)
