Yeah, I have it ordered at AJ but honestly the price is worse than if I just got it locally so I’ll keep an eye on it until the 25th to see if it gets any better. Right now with all export and shipping fees it’s like $29 815 or like $370 Canadian.

Almost every MP I own came from AE (some I've gotten from TFS but only when I've missed AE's preorder window). It was never an issue because out-of-the-box QC issues on MPs were actually pretty rare before MP Hound (I skipped MP-44 and MP-45) - I'd never had ANY issues prior to that! When ordering to the UK it wasn't just the cheaper preorder price and shipping price that are attractive - it's also the fact they mark down the value of the item on the customs form which makes a HUGE difference due to import taxes. I used to order from HLJ but customs started adding taxes to EVERYTHING (at one point it was a lottery - then it was a certainty) meaning a 20% VAT bill and an extra charge (of about £8-£12) "handling fee". All of which made ordering from somewhere like HLJ far less tempting. This was before Amazon.jp were an option.

With modern MPs it's tricky. Hound has soured me considerably. I'm going to wait on Starscream for in-hand reviews and then I may or may not go for a re-release.

Sounds like you and me are in the same boat - always used Anime Export too, but it’s the QC lottery that’s preventing me from putting a pre-order in. I’m also wanting to see how he fares in hand before committing.....

There's enough complaining already about the plainness of the sculpts even with the OG Seeker colour schemes. Can you imagine the disgust if they also had decos like they'd just been dipped in a pot of flourescent paint!?  

 

As mentioned a while back, I'd get the Cybertron Seekers if they keep their Cybertronian alt modes. It would be nice if they came with those weapons too though, shiiiit.

If they DID make a Cyberton mold, it would be crazy to see this updated vision of Scream get one of those repainted releases.

 

Ok digibashers..... can we have some monocoloured flourescent rainmakers.

Bonus points go to Takara if they glow in the dark.

Hmmm the current design with faux parts might lend itself well to Cybertronian tetra jet alt mode. The wing sandwich could be a stack of tetra jet panel rather than F-15 parts, the faux bot mode canopy means the real jet canopy could be swapped out for tetra jet parts, and the stack-o-panels on the back can fill in the rest of the tetra jet. So I think you could have pretty much exactly the same bot mode, just wings looking a little different maybe, but a tetra jet alt.

I'd be so down for some of those! Make it so Takara!
