We've never had a Shattered Glass redeco come BEFORE the main character, though

 

SG Ratchet was announced pretty hot on the heels of the GOC set, there could always be a first time, Who Knows?
Well, Hasbro, obviously!  

 

ER Micromasters includes both the combining ones. I feel Micron will have redecos of them since right now they can not actually combine withAnyone but themselves and so this way (without modification) we can have them actually combine with other characters.

Either they will be random colors since I imagine “Astroworks“ is a new character or remold and make some other ones not done yet.

However the dream is Oiler and Slide. Maybe they planned on making them but didn’t have time? Like I said a dream.

 

Sounding like the Barricade and Micromaster sets are the only ones I'll be interested in.

 

A few reasons why I ‘think’ (and hope!) it’s Pointblank in the Barricade set...

1) One of the planets left is Dominus, aka planet Master where the Headmasters & Targetmasters are from. Like Lifeline being from Paradron, Pointblank being from Dominus would fit in well narratively.

2) Pixelmaster’s source originally thought Earthrise Sideswipe was in this. If it was a red car they thought they saw, it would likely be Pointblank instead of Drift.

3) From a sales perspective, Barricade is basically a Black robot with lighter highlights. Deadlock’s robot mode would be black too, & I’m not sure if marketing would want two black robots in one set (and even if Drift is white, he’s still quite plain)

It could go either way, but HasTak knows we want Crosshairs, Pointblank & Sureshot to be made. It’s possible we got Crosshairs in Siege, Pointblank could be Earthrise & Sureshot could be in Kingdom. The monsterbots were spread out like this over the Prime Wars trilogy too.

I also feel Drift would be more likely to be a repaint/retool from Springer, Guido Guidi did the original Smokescreen to Barricade G1 concept they’re doing now and a white Springer is another he did. Springer’s also one of the only WfC toys not to get a second use yet, & Drift would be a great choice for him.

 

So with there being a transformers fan first Friday this week, I wonder if some of the GO sets will be revealed.
On a side note I hope the last few earthrise exclusives (thrust, Runabout, Bluestreak?even though he’s been shown to be a Walgreens exclusive) get revealed.
And maybe a few early kingdom exclusives (but I doubt those, too early).

 

Actually, they could have Sureshot as an exclusive in Kingdom to give each chapter of the trilogy one of the three.  

 

I seriously hope it’s not drift cuz I’m pretty happy with the live action being my drift.

I know they just dropped all the Kingdom PO's, and supposedly some Studio Series will be announced (boy will some people be pissed if its only SS86 stuff), but I'd like to see them reveal the re-released Headmasters.

 

So I’m not sure if this has been addressed yet, but is Springer getting a rerelease with Arcee in this line? My old Springer broke and I’ve been looking to get a replacement at some point, though I’ll wait for a rerelease if it’s coming.

 

Springer is showing up at Ross for $13, might want to try there.

 

Why do people want Sureshot from Mirage??? He’s a Baja buggy, not a formula-1 race car! You sure you’re not thinking of Slapdash? They’re both yellow, compound words, *masters, and start with an “s”.

I’d much rather wait for a proper Sureshot. Maybe if they do AEC updates, he can be a retool of Energon Cliffjumper/Beachcomber.

 

Aside from just wanting a Sureshot in general, the mold surprisingly fits him well. Plenty of digibashes are out there to prove the concept.

 

I seriously doubt that Hasbruh is going to give us a new mold for him, so Mirage is the most likely one

 

Just gonna go on record here, If the second bot with Barricade is Pointblank, I'll be willing to sell him for $20 USD +shipping to anyone who wants. I only want that Earthmode Barricade.

 

I would be down for that.
