To clarify, I was speaking about my KO MP44. I've had Op Leader for like a year and I LOVE that thing. I agree, it's brilliantly engineered as opposed to over engineered like MP44 is. Considering it's the same price as the KO, it's a far better overall product IMO. Far fewer problems too!

 

The one that bothers me the most and I hope isn’t consistently missed is the line work on the face plate.

It's bombproof and cheap

 

More robust than bombproof, more recent releases seem to suffer from a breaking foot slider.

 

I has some celshaded figures... All of them seemed to have vibrant colours on promo images, very brilliant and vivid... And in hand all of them had the colours very off.

I never bought a celshaded TF again.

 

Got my extended neck in. Now I’m just waiting for my white outline autobot logos to arrive from Toyhax.

 

Ιs the neck articulation so bad, that you can call the neck extender mandatory?

 

No it just looks better, as his head to too close to the chest on the normal version.

 

I’ve never wanted a longer neck. Some side to side tilt would have been nice though.

No. Not at all mandatory but more of an aesthetic for TE-01 that still allows him to transform. The articulation is the same.

Nope, doesn’t interfere. While I don’t feel a need for the extender on mine, I’d recommend getting one since everyone who has one seems happy with it.

 

The extended neck allows him to look down now.

I’d say if you get TE-01, you should also invest in the extended neck, toyhax white outline labels, and the TE-01 decal set another member offers. I’m still waiting on the last two but will share images once they arrive and are applied.

 

Well, mine is going to be the Nemesis variant, so much need for all those. But I get your point and I agree. It seems such a waste that over all those versions released and they never addressed these issues....

 

It’s more to achieve a down neck articulation, which the stock can’t do....at least with the 2nd movie head since it has a longer face plate, seems to hinder it.

Hey, picked up the extended neck for TE-01 from transformer_78. This thing kicks ass! It's amazing what a little change in height can do for the head articulation. It's definitely worth the $8.70 he's asking for them and it took me about 5 minutes to install. Check it:
