Yeah, I've also had issues. Ordering Skateboard Gorilla here was the nail in the coffin for me too - $40 in express shipping (ordered TT Hongli Red Falcon with this guy) and it took them over two weeks to put the thing in the mail!  (And then 3 more weeks to reach me - 15 days my foot.)

    Anyway -
SG here is a great figure. Super fun, faithful to the design while improving it in numerous ways. 9/10 from me.

I'll try and get a proper photo set of this guy soon, he definitely deserves it.

    Boss monkey finally arrived today.

He's definitely lighter than I expected, but he's a very nice figure overall! I'm really hoping that they plan on making a TM Megatron as well to go with this guy on my shelf.

What do you guys think? Do you think it will take a long time to get this from showzstore now? I'm thinking I'll just pre-order it from TFSource and wait for it to ship from them. It may be faster than waiting for showzstore to ship it. I guess they ship their orders strapped to a sloth.

I think you'd be fine ordering it from them, it's hard to tell how long it'll take western sellers to get it in - Just pay for the faster shipment and you should have it in 2-3 weeks.

Regular/Free shipping took 2 months for me (Illinois). The $6 shipping took 2 wks - worth it for me. Good luck and enjoy, it's a great figure.

Got mine from ShowZ. Better price, but longer wait. The Chosen Prime will take care of you too, and get it to you quicker!

I still can't believe it's taken this long for anyone to have a go at the Transmetals. I wonder if it's because they were relatively show accurate that 3rd parties thought they couldn't improve them? It's actually nice that someone finally went "take the original design, give them better expressions, add a bit of articulation, done".

Really, my only issue with this figure is his ability to hold his weapons. Why do designers still not get that if you're going to put ratchet joints in the shoulders than the figure needs to be able to hold their weapons tightly.

Aside from that though, he's ace, and I am also really excited for Cheetor and his scary, scary hands.

I also think they had to wait to make sure there were enough older BW fans. 3P figures aren't something most people can afford to impulse buy, and older customers are usually more likely to have that sort of disposable cash than 20 somethings. Now that the bulk of the BW "kids" are in their 30s or early 40s, the market is there.

I'm sure this is a pretty big part of it. I know for myself, transformation is a HUGE part of a figure. I love getting a new figure and playing with a new transformation. Seeing the new Transmetal Primal... it looks real nice, its tempting. But I have TM primal already, and the similarities between the two are so much, the transformation so similar.. it's a bit hard for ME to justify it. I see myself eyeing it alot, and when I have some extra money I might cave at some point, but that definitely holds me back a decent amount from comitting.
