I can't tell if this is disappointing or a relief. But I do have to say, I don't really see how they could take a meaty earth-based animal and make it turn into a weapon for a character to hold lol. Unless they would have made them into fossil characters as well.

I get the feeling that negative fan feedback was their reason for discontinuing Battle Masters in Kingdom? Is that accurate?

From what I've heard it's mostly lack of sales, which is easy to achieve when most retailers (including their own website) don't stock that particular price point

Plus they weren't all that great, imo. Some 3rd party offerings are pretty neat, but this G1-y stuff is just a bit too boring and bland in execution. They severely lack articulation and ingenuity. I only got some for the blast effects

The hammer dude and the snake shield are kinda cool, but again pathetic articulation

When compared to the Takara ones from a few years ago, they had different design goals. The Takara ones wanted high articulation for their size, but the gun modes weren't the most stable. The Hasbro ones on the other hand all had incredibly stable weapon modes, at the cost of knees. My biggest personal complaint about the Hasbro ones is lack of color

They were kinda neat, but also kinda disappointing when you compare them the the TR Legends Targetmasters. That little extra leg swivel for gun mode really makes a difference. I'm surprised they didn't just reuse the molds for the Battle Masters.

I can see that I have said something that is on other people's minds. However, I was just realizing that it feels as if they have limited the molds they can use to make the Kingdom section of the Netflix Toy-line. Look at the molds that could fit in the toyline. Laserbeak, Ravage, Ratbat, Lionizer, Pteraxadon, Slitherfang, Smashdown. That's it. Even using some of the Micromasters, it is extremely limiting. And considering that every single mold, besides Smashdown, have been used in the Netflix Toy-line before.

psst, kingdom isn't nothing but beasts. Hell, Netflix wave 3 deluxes only have one beast as far as we are aware, so it's really not limited

Though it IS limiting based upon the amount of toys that are officially revealed in Kingdom AND the leaked figures. Especially the Leader figures. The New Leader Figures that have been leaked or officially revealed are Earth Ultra Magnus, Beast Megatron, and Galvatron. Which of these figures will become the Leader in the Spoiler Pack? Also, thinking about the 2 Voyagers they will choose, the figures which were leaked are Cyclonus, Rhinox, G1 Inferno, Optimus Primal, Tigatron, Rhinox, and Dinobot. Then they have to choose 5 Deluxes, in which they have Cheetor, Warpath, Blackarachnia, Slammer, Airrazor, Huffer and Pipes, Waspinator, Scorponok, and Tracks as the molds they can use. I have removed molds they have already used (Arcee, Earthrise Optimus Prime, and Wheeljack) just to show how somewhat limiting the molds they can use are.

again, not all them are going to be from the beast era, the leader could be a er, or siege figure

Not to mention how many characters appeared in the series but don't have toys yet. The concurrent waves could be used to also bring in those figures from previous seasons who hadn't made it to shelves under this banner, like Shockwave or Astrotrain

The latest leader wasn't even a leader class before. It was voyager siege prime with er's trailer. They can make up whatever they want.

Though it has to include something from Kingdom. Netflix Nemesis Prime had the Earthrise Optimus Prime trailer and Fangtron, a repaint of Earthrise Slitherfang. All of the figures in the Earthrise section of the Netflix Toy-line featured Earthrise Molds or at least included remolds/repaints of Earthrise Molds.
Um, Earthrise Optimus Prime wasn't exactly Leader class. He was a Voyager that they just added enough materials for it to be classified as a Leader figure.
I would not be betting on that. Considering that it would kind of make people who have already bought the Siege toys feel like those toys were redundant. Besides, those toys were like Earthrise Leader Optimus Prime, neither were really "Leader"-classed. They were pretty much just Voyager-Classed. Their accessories (Shockwave's shoes and extra arms and Astrotrain's tender) were the only reason they were Leader-class figures.

Therefore making it a Leader Class figure. We've well established that it's the mass that classifies figures, not height. That wasn't even the point though. WFC Spoiler Nemesis Prime was a previously classified Voyager figure packed in with a bunch of accessories and bumped up to Leader pricing and classification.
How is that any different than anything else in the Netflix line? At all? Scrapface is new, sure, but he wasn't even in the show.
That would be fantastic if that were the point I was making with them. They were characters in the show and not the toyline yet, that's all I was saying with that. I wasn't debating the leader class issue everyone takes because honestly I'm tired of it.

The wave 2 spoiler pack has a Siege voyager with the trailer, several wave 2 deluxes are from siege, at least one wave 3 deluxe is a siege mold. The Netflix line is War for Cybertron TRILOGY, not Netflix Kingdom. They can use any mold from throughout the trilogy.

regardless of whether or not the ark is the next titan im still convinced the airwave silouhette on fasttrack's box was a clue for tidal wave:
    1. both decepticon
    2. both have name that ends in wave
    3.both turn into aircraft carrier
    4. both split apart into pieces for various alt modes and the ability to weaponize another character
