I got mine and it looks good! I'm happy with the quality as far as unofficial figures are concerned.

One difference I think I've noticed from pictures of the official (besides the pins) is that the bottom side of the spider's mouth mandibles are orange just like the top side.
From what I can tell of the official, the bottom side is black, so that they wont stand out in robot mode.
On this KO version, I can just see a little orange peek through in bot mode.

(Now that I think about it, alternatively they could have been put on backwards instead, I've already put mine away so maybe I'll check for that later)

It's a very small detail and I haven't yet decided if I'm going to paint over that part with black myself, or if I just don't care enough and will leave it as it is.

I'm trying to buy a MP Blackarachnia. How to identify a KO based on the box?

 

Does the good quality KO have a hologram sticker at the bottom of the box? Apparently, factory stock has the sticker, but KO has no sticker.

Can those with good quality KOs better than the original please kindly confirm?

It does not. Though I don't think the original did either.

 

I just got my copy from Showzstore today and right out of the box, there was a leg detached from the hinge. After all I’ve read I thought, “well that’s not suppose to happen.” To confirm, I went ahead and checked every other leg and sure enough, none of them were pinned in. I then checked the mandibles in robot mode and they were black to match the abs while the spider side is gold/orange. Now really paranoid, I then went to check my order to confirm I did indeed order the KO, which it was. My question is, was there a revised KO that is a 1 to 1 copy of the official figure, or did I inadvertently receive the official MP Blackarachnia?

 

Well, my MP46 Blackarachnia KO just came in on Tuesday (ordered her on Amazon). Pleasantly surprised with her!! Oddly, it seems that they put the smiling face on as her default (it's hard to tell from her mouth, but the smiling face has narrower eyes than the straight face). Nice, saves me the trouble. Kingdom Blackarachnia looks good next to her (spider mode still stomps out the MP). They shall be the mother-daughter duo...Blackwidow & Blackarachnia.

 

Any way to tell a ko by the box? Or any clues on the toy itself

 

The toy itself has pinned knees at each of the spider legs. This is something the legit MP46 ain't got (but should've).

 

I found this strange spider on my balcony last week...

Have to say, this KO, even though it comes in the full Takara Tomy package and includes all accessories, is a steal for that price.
Fantastic toy.

Anyone else get a KO in bubblewrap placed outside of the MP-46 box?


Haven't had a chance to play around with the figure, but I did find the tape on the box broken and no figure inside the box (but a stand and web inside the box). One spider leg came off at the ball-joint, but it popped right back on. Will need to count the accessories tonight to make sure everything showed up.

It is a KO, so no big deal, but still odd for the figure to be wrapped in bubblewrap outside the original box while everything else appears to still be in the original trays.
