Tbf Starscream is a bit hard to get a hold of now, so I see what you mean. Elita feels like she might be hard to find, shes the first “normal” CHUG version of the character. Honestly I’m a bit of a chump too lol, I bought Doubledealer just because he was the only new figure in Smyths at the time.

Which Smyths do you go to? The one in Newry gets everything from what I’ve seen.

 

Newtownabbey or Boucher usually. Admittedly, they have been much better with earthrise, but over the last few years with siege and potp they have missed out on certain figures that I don’t really trust them with bee and soundwave.

There are plenty of examples, but the biggest are probably the potp terrorcons and galaxy upgrade prime who either never came here, or were many months after England and Scotland.

Sadly yes, you could see although the way through and the card backs of what was behind them as they were on a shelf not a peg. Must have been well over 20!

 

I can’t separate Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein and High Anxiety. They’re all sheer genius.

Opposed through I am to cartoon ‘accuracy’ in the whole, I think Starscream V3 looks smashing. I won’t be buying him though, not at that price. I’ll wait for the KO. In the meantime, though, if Maketoys reissue those lads I’LL BE ALL OVER ‘EM.

I’ve used TR Robots NL twice, @Shushen , and although they’re not the cheapest they’re usually well stocked and very reliable with great packing. Definitely recommended.

Spent Thursday to Sunday in Lancaster looking after my friend Tanya, who is having an unbelievably shit time right now - she has a pre-existing neurological condition that causes fits, nausea and dizziness, recently found out she’s also got a bleed on her brain and then fell during a dizzy spell and broke her ankle. Terrible stuff. She can’t walk around and, owing to having to use crutches, is operating with only one free hand, so she needed someone to come and help her. This is her oats-mad Degu friend, Kenny.


I would have stayed longer but Mrs O is away at her mum’s from today so I had to come back to look after the cats. I really wasn’t at all happy about having to leave her alone for today, but she’s got a colleague coming tomorrow to take her for her MRI. I’m awfully worried.



The cats were waiting by the front door for me for quite a while before I got back, apparently.

Speaking of, and in line with the recent animal pals talk here, today has been one year since Claude came to live with us!

...and here’s Clarence doing a thing he does where he climbs onto Claude’s back end and uses his left leg to attempt to start him like a motorcycle. There’s no humping involved, just his weird leg motion, so we have NO idea what it’s all about. It barely even fazes Claude. Hairy weirdoes.

So much for buying any robits - all the money I made on bloody eBay went on train fare and food in Lancaster. Cobblers.

Super Megatron arrived just before I left, though, which is nice as he’s a bit of a peach isn’t he?
Not a big fan of the cannon, particularly in folded up ultra mode, but I do think it makes for a pretty cool jet pack!!!

I wish we’d got two sets of those wee shoulder cannons though.



Mrs O’s mum dropped these electronic drums off when she came to pick her up this morning - inherited from her dad, who passed away in 2018.



They’re still working their way through clearing his room out, even after two years, as he had rather a lot of electronics and musical gear in there that needed to be carefully sifted through. He was a top fellow, to be sure.

 

So is anyone else amused that, due to a lack of 5mm ports not on her legs, ER Arcee can't actually combine with Cog to recreate her one real scene in the Siege cartoon? (Well, either that or I'm severely misremembering the scene.)

 

It tickles me - but then I think that they'll probably totally do a remould and or accessory to sell us a two-pack of 'em down the line or summink!

Have only been to Boucher Smyths once or twice, didn’t even know there was one in Newtownabbey. The Terrorcons stuff was before my time, I would have been rightfully pissed if I was collecting and had to order them online instead.

if worst comes to pass, I’m sure Smyths Newry will have Bee and Soundwave, they get everything from what I’ve seen.

As for Arcee, not really amused as a bit miffed. Though I have seen someone manage to pull it off, presumably with balancing. I do wonder if a peg can be put in the gap where the pole for the clip part of her hoverboard goes into her torso in car mode but it would by no means be a secure port.

(Super 7 Filmation Skeletor, I think it's the same size as Classics?)
I think it looks amazing by accident up close but the size difference really shows from a distance. Btw, the Havoc staff is bigger than Skeletor so don't go by that!

 

...I have no idea why some sellers do this.
