Great for those that love him, but never cared about this character personally. Much rather FT were doing Metroplex, Devvy or Bruticus, tbh.

We'll see if FT does this but if they do, he'll have mini me waiting for him and a Unicron (Zeta's) to use as a soccer ball.

 

They're doing all 3. If Fort Max sells well you have the basic skeleton already for a Metroplex. This was definitely proof of concept to do all of the citybots. I think there is enough of us that are crazy to make this successful and FT clearly understands the market. I still expect FT to announce Scourge formally and Sky Lynx.

 

I don’t care about the g1 character, the idw version yes.

But the worlds biggest and nicest transforming figure made by my favorite transforming robot company.

yeah. I’m buying that. Might have to cut out some drywall, remove some studs and add bracing to fit him into the room though.

yep it's going to be huge and so will the cost of it   god will it be worth it tho!!!!!!!!   i hope they don't take too long with this i keep trying to forget about it   blew my mind when we saw the live reveal only time since i have started collecting in 2010 that i have jumped out of my sofa apon the sight of a tf related reveal official or third party   i was literally walking around my living room holding my head in my hands and shouting in excitement like a mad man  

still holding out hope for a decent marvel comic scaled mp fort max but doubt that will ever happen

 

Metroplex and Fortress Maximus do not share a skeletal structure. Hasbro proved that quite well with the catastrophe that was Titans Return Fort Max.

It's a good thing Hasbro didn't rework Trypticon into Scorponok 

We might get the Alien Xenomorph instead.

 

I think Hasbro's current mold-reuse methodology with modern CHUG has made the fandom a bit hyper-obsessed with the idea of mold reuse (as can be seen with the frequent suggestions for stuff like remolding Kingdom Airazor into Terrorsaur). But I definitely don't think that's where Fanstoys' headspace is at.

 

That practice is more common with MMC.

 

That's why FT is my favorite company. People accuse them of limiting supplies (with no proof), but they haven't reused any mold so far.
