Aaaahhh, You’re making Casey Kasem sad :cry

I totally get what your saying, despite Bluestreak being my favorite of the 84 “deluxes”.... I do think the mere fact that he is an 84 character grants him a touch of clout above most background characters, despite the fact he’s pretty much been relegated to Cliffjumper/Buzzsaw status in the modern era. And yeah, classically speaking, what did he ever do? In the G1 Marvel book, I remember him most from Gears REFERENCING him when he hung out with Spider-man (because Spidey motormouth like Bluestreak)

It is interesting that Smokescreen has gotten so much more play and representation (which I love because he’s my favorite G1 character - I have no idea why, since he basically never received an iota of character development, basically as a kid it must have been a combo of his sweet deco and his Universe profile... for some reason I really loved the 85 cast over the 84s... more unique looks maybe?)

Yeah, but he did those when he was going by Silverstreak in the early 00s, does that even COUNT?

Yea, don’t get me wrong, he’s my favorite of the datsuns, and has a prominent place as one of the original lineup, but he’s far from an important character in the grand scheme

Also, don't forget about that weird "Ottobotto Watashi" album he released exclusively in Japan under the name "Streak".

This is most likely. Split up and send out a quantity based on avg sales and a store’s current on hand supply.

Im guessing Smokescreen is a race car so between NASCAR and the Cars movies and such it has a more natural attraction for kids. Prowl is a police car. Bluestreak is a ...car.

We love Bluestreak but mainline figures mostly are chosen for wide appeal, a memorable/recognizable name, and be part of wide variety of vehicles and colors on the shelf. To kids Bluestreak is just not as special or appealing as the other two. We can call him core or even main sure, but kids will pass on him more than the other two so he’s most likely to get second tier status.

...and on topic. All these sightings have me thinking I should roam out to a few of the 6 WG’s in town tomorrow.

And of course who could forget his albums released when he changed his name to just a little picture of a car/"The Streak Formerly Known as Blue," such as "The Silver Experience" or "The Blue Album"

Let's focus on the figure and stop the name calling and nonsense. I see any more I'm going to start banning people from the thread.

So looking at the computer, it is linked to the regular figures we carry all the time. My store does show an upcoming distribution of 2 on 10/21 though. So its possible they are sending an allotment of just this figure once and then after it probably will be like the clones where it is the luck of the draw at the warehouse. The WIC # is 794351 but it will show all deluxe figures totals.

Does it show whether or not Walgreens considers it to be an Exclusive figure, or is it just a general release figure in their system? That would explain it showing up on Amazon as well as Walgreens, and hopefully everywhere else as well.

I guess I'll be making a few stops after work today.
I can hit up about 4-5 Walgreens on my way home, so here's hoping.

On a side note, I am really surprised that this is hitting in the US and there doesn't seem to be a single eBay listing from the US (as of writing this).

There are 20 Walgreens in my area according to Google Maps. I'll still have to drive out of way quite a bit.
    9 in Seattle
    2 in Bellevue
    1 in Shoreline
    3 in Renton
    2 in Kirkland
    1 in Woodinville
    1 in Issaquah
    1 in Mercer Island

Boy this is not going to be fun.
