I think it was a case of poor color choice (across all his media): if you try to picture them the same color as the Allo skin instead of red, then they're more like partially exposed ribs in all 3 modes.

I highly doubt the Kingdom version will be better than this Takara version (especially in terms of premium paint). Worth every penny. I wish they would start re-releasing their premium paint line again regarding Kingdom toys as I wouldn't mind paying a little more for greatly painted figures (BW or 86 movie). It's just too bad as their more-show-accurate-painted figures were the perfect balance between mainline and MPs : Show accurate looks with all the fun transformations at a reasonable price without the overly complex time staking transformation at gouging /horridly high prices... I do like to transform my figures back and forth.
The only think that will beat this Waspinator will be the MP version (which I will get as well).

Has there been any indication that MP-50 Tigatron will be available at brick and mortar Stateside? I want to preorder thru a JP site but if I'm going to see it at target cheaper 6 weeks later I'll be a bit fmished.

As far as I know, none of the MP Beast Wars have made it to North America.

Yeah what's the deal? I only see MPM in Toys R Us.

I want my childhood back on the shelves at an inflated price so they'll be forced to put it on sale and allow me to get discounted goods locally!

Another Predacon joins the ranks! And Transquito showed up at my house earlier. (I’m currently at work)

Spittor is a bit special to me for a few reasons: 1. I just think he looks great. The translucent blue is so nice with the fluorescent orange, 2. He was one of the hardest basics for me to find because he’s almost always broke or missing limbs, and 3. Because when I was seven my dad took me to Toys R Us to pick me out a birthday present. I was OBSESSED with Beast Wars back then and thought every figure was just the coolest fucking thing. So I’m looking at the toys and go to Transformers and thats when I released the new ones were out. (No internet for us back then) For some reason Spittor really stood out to me. I think it was his dark blue and bright orange against the classic BW eye card. Basics were the cheapest so I was allowed to get it, but when my dad saw it was like eight fucking dollars (or however much Basics were in Canada back in 97) he wouldn’t get it for me, even though the whole reason we went was to get me a birthday present. (My dad never bought me anything new, as I later learned) I was understandably upset by the blue balls I got from the blue frog I didn’t get. But the story had a happy ending, because when my mom found out my dad failed to do the one thing he was supposed to do she sent him back out and had him buy me the Ultra Megatron. (Whom I’d asked for the Christmas prior but got Primal instead, which I was fine with of course) So I ended up with a way better deal, but always remembered Spittor as silly as it was. Granted I paid a bit more than eight dollars now but hey, I’ve got a collection to finish. :D

Is the basic Airazor made of GPS? I checked the list of GPS-prone figures, and didn't see her listed.

Congrats dude! I'm happy you managed to find one! It gives that story some much needed closure. I also have always liked spitter. He's so ridiculous and his transformation is super simple, but I also really like the colours, and there is something charming about this little guy who's head can pop off in this weird stupid intimidation attack where he's just like "HAH! I'm taller now!"

I'm glad you finally got Spittor. He's been one of my favourite figures since I was a kid.

New picture of Beast Wars Dinobot. Looking forward to the picture fun I'll have with the Kingdom version.

    Simon Wong covers Transmutate.

Got to say, this is another really nice design he's done. It's a little more coherent of a design compared to the original, but still clearly gives the sense of being incomplete. And I really like the huge arm gun, giving the sense of how powerful Transmutate was.
