Judging based off the looks of these guys I would love for this company to make the Combaticons or a liokaiser

 

One day I’m going to design and release a 3rd party planeformer that has its left wing 5% bigger than its right wing and David will have an aneurysm.

 

Maybe I'm wrong, but doesn't the G1 toy have other bits that are wrong? I mean, aside from the box of robot on the bottom. I think the nosecone and horizontal tail are both wrong on the original toy.

Personally I'm in the camp of "I'll take some inaccuracies in trade for a cleaner jet". That said, it would certainly be great if Dream Star Toys could make some tweaks, like upsizing the F-16's vertical tail and some... some kind of work on that Harrier.

I think he was asking if he was referring to the individual bots or the combiner

 

This set can't come soon enough for me. I love the design choices, the new style and all. I wish more 3rd party companies would try something new like this. High risk, but look at some of the recent successes. Cang toys did a great job, the AmazingSpino designs are the talk of the town, let's see some more genuine creativity rather than slavish recreations of the old.

 

Oh... sorry. I assumed that he was looking at the combined mode since the thighs are pretty short... but I can't speak for @HardMangG

 

The thighs on the combined mode look short but the knee joints are actually in the leg bots, so that the thigh / lower leg ratio is quite similar to FT Superion.

 

I thought GCreations' MSTM-01 Wrath would be the swan song of my 3P collection efforts, but this supremely awesome (IMO) figure beckons me to continue. Frankly, I wish more 3P companies would churn out reimagined iterations of popular characters (which seemed to be the norm several years ago), as opposed to the constant onslaught of MP-style characters from the big boys of the 3P industry. Don't get me wrong, I will always welcome high-end efforts such as MMC Assaultus, but designs such as these are what I want populating my 3P shelves the most.

 

What makes you think that this combiner isn't a high end effort?

As far as it seems, this Superion has more in common with MP other than just size.

 

I'm in at $100 a bot, but I think $85 would be a great price

This a rather unique design for Superion and the individual team members in their robot mode. Their aesthetic would fit in nicely within the Masterpiece collection. Though, I'm really tempted to preorder these at ShowZStore.
