Welcome to collecting the line, I’ll try to break this down for you. Since you’re asking for info, what kind of collection are you looking for? Are you going for ARAH accuracy? If so, comic accurate, ARAH toy accurate or cartoon accurate? Retro Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes don’t match the card art because of a few things: Hasbro used 30th anniversary Storm Shadow from 2011 instead of the Retaliation Ultimate Storm Shadow(which was based directly on the Sunbow cartoon design for Storm Shadow) Hasbro used Pursuit of Cobra wave 3 Snake Eyes and didn’t include the swappable V1-based head sculpt(which mirrors the retro card art) instead of using the 25th anniversary V1 Snake Eyes from the 5 pack and later single packed in wave 5 Neither retro Storm Shadow nor Snake Eyes use molds from the 25th line For the classic ARAH look, if you prefer the sleeveless cartoon/comic look, go for Ultimate Storm Shadow from the Retaliation line. If you want the upper sleeves to match the card art, get the 1st 25th Storm Shadow. For the classic ARAH look, 25th Duke would fit in better but is a dated figure compared to retro Storm Shadow/Snake Eyes. YMMV. For the HISS driver YMMV, the one with the new retro HISS might be sufficient For any further suggestions, it’ll really depend on what style you’re trying to match(ARAH toy, Sunbow cartoon or Marvel comic look. In some cases they’re the same but in some they’re subtly different). Hopefully if they reissue 1st one from POC, it locks together better. The black and Crimson repaints lock together more securely. Not all of them were originally from the 50th line, just Destro actually. Scarlett is the Resolute mold with a different torso and different paint apps for the face. Baroness is from a 2009 5 pack but with some added ROC weapons/accessories. Roadblock is a repaint of Retaliation Roadblock from 1 of the 3 packs but with a new head sculpt. I don’t know if some of the molds degraded since 2013 or if they’ve been lost/destroyed, the 30th anniversary Storm Shadow being used for retro Storm Shadow and retro Snake Eyes not having the POC V1 swappable goggles head are glaring mismatches from wave 1.
This Black Dragon VTOL from the 30th anniversary line is slept on. I look at it like a FANG III(the FANG II had rotors that could tilt like this). There is a Black Dragon VTOL in the Renegades cartoon but it was huge and a lot different, used more like a transport. This originated as a concept by Massive Black for Hasbro: Massive Black Reveals GI Joe Concept Art - HissTank.com The toy itself still appeals to me. Very sturdy and NO stickers! Everything is painted and printed on. The only qualm I have is that the bomb dropping gimmick(activated by pushing the front button down all the way, pressing halfway down pops out the nose cannon 1st) seems unfinished. The bomb bay doors open and all the bombs drop but the bay doors hang loosely. You need to manually close them. In addition, it seems like the bombs were supposed to have attachment pegs so they could attach to the 4 hardpoints under the wings. Also, be careful with any figure with a soft plastic vest as it can take the paint off the seat.
I am not super familiar with these characters as I guess they arent arah/80s people or if they are i forgot them, but I just looked around at some pics and iron klaw with those odd thigh boots reminds me of white knight batman legs, and his face is close to Vader with no outer helmet. I saw someone mention on another forum they were gonna make a stone out if the movie cable figure. I doubt they will visit these two or if they do it won't be soon but there are parts here and there that a person may use to make them.
Ok, I’m about tapped out on trying to find Baroness. I did manage to get a lot of other exclusives from other lines like ML and BS. If anyone has an extra Baroness they want to trade for a Storm/Thunderbird or AWE Striker or something like that, LMK. Straight up, I’ll pay the difference for An item of lesser value (msrp) or the other way around. I usually don’t ask often but yeah, I’m desperate now. Lol.
I finally got my Gung-Ho, wave 1 Roadblock and CC from BBTS. That catches me up on everything Classified that’s out there that I actually want (passed on Duke, Red Ninja and Storm Shadow). I’d like Roadblock more if they got rid of the beard and modified the colors (ditch the gold, paint the vest a different shade of green...maybe even camo...and paint the pants brown). CC is great. Gung-Ho is good...other than his hat sucks, his tat needs redone and somebody needs to peel the dead chipmunk off the top of his head...lol. Out of everything I’ve gotten so far, I can’t quite say who my favorite is.

The other has it priced at $90 for a sale. Neither ideal deals i think unless you have extra super7 stuff laying about. Don't forget that Supreme CC is also in this format as well if you also ordered it: Premium packaging. It's literally better than the Exclusive Star Wars: Black Series 6 inch boxes that they offer. The reports on actionfigurenews.ca mentions that the Baroness has been slighted in Ontario. I haven't seen any of the Classified stuff yet in close to where I live which is Burnaby, B.C., however Baroness was sighted in Kanata (near Ottawa). @Slave IV and myself are waiting for Serpentor. Toss in a few Crimson Guards as well! If Serpentor gets released, please include the Air Chariot, however I can feel that it's another Hasbro Pulse item.
