    What you just noticed?
Also I ask again, why bring this up. I mentioned that it was really dumb for outside parties to not investigate this further than what the White House dude did (I.E ask where the Autobots were, what was being done to take care of them and why Optimus was still here and why he didn't leave to begin with, etc) and then you go off on how hard it is to find robots who can transform.

Then you don't get my point. My point was a comparison between humans and Transformers. One Transformer could take on give or take 10 soldiers. So what that in mind if a 100 soldiers for us is considered a small army, then 10 Transformers would also be considered a small army.

I don't know how many times I gotta repeat this but if a group of Autobots are able to take on 100 Decepticons then they are a small army strength wise.

So the Autobots are stronger than the Decepticons despite being fewer numbers and still can also be considered an army.
The definition of army (First result at least) is "an organized military force equipped for fighting on land." That's literally what the Autobots are even if their numbers are on the lower side.

Don't care, he didn't die in the movie. That's all that matters.

    Right.

    Non-joking post this time!

I like Scalpel and wanna see him more, I like those little ball-bearing Microcons and their combined / 'Reedman' form. There's quite a few characters from the films and toyline that I'd like to see migrate into a larger continuity. Some examples being: Barricade, Cogman, Blackout, Breakaway, Incinerator, Crosshairs (I thought Quickslinger would be a good name for him) Stockade, Wreckage and so forth.

I gotta ask: what the heck is your purpose here? Because in every discussion I see with you, you post some poorly constructed argument, and then when people respond to your posts, you argue every little detail they say, when most potential misunderstandings seem to come from how poorly written your posts are. And then you misrepresent what other people are saying to continue arguing, either because you just want to argue, or because you have no idea what you're talking about. Which is it? Do you want to discuss Transformers and ideas about Transformers? Or do you just want to argue for the sake of arguing? Do you want to become a more positive member of this fandom, or do you want to keep on being abrasive for no good reason?

If you are going to conduct an investigation on robots who can be disguised as vehicles or other machines, it might not be especially easy, given their disguises, their mobility, and their small numbers. They are supposed to be autonomous after all.

It might not be like looking for Bigfoot or a Yeti, but it might be like looking for a saola or a giant squid.

I'm not talking about strength of power; I'm talking about strength of numbers. If Grimlock or Unicron started just decimating enemies left and right, they still wouldn't be an army. They're just single individuals. It doesn't matter if they're stronger than many Cybertronians combined.

I never said they weren't an army. I said they were hardly an army, because their numbers were so few.

And that's the problem. It would be one thing if people like you who were wrong about almost everything and use false information to support your opinions had a sense of humor. Instead, every time I post a joke or pun or other lighthearted material and try to show that discussing Transformers should be on the fun side, it goes right ogre some people's heads. And I think it always will.

God this has the be the dumbest thing I've ever seen you written.
Let's look at what actually happened, right?
    My original point was:
"So nobody questioned why all the Autobots suddenly vanished, nobody was like "Hey did the Autobots get shot into space again or? Cause Prime is still here, so why is that?"
How the fuck does nobody look deeper into this shit, it's like the dumb shit you do when talking about these movies."

    Your response:
"There are examples of officials doing a poor job of investigation or following up all of the time."

So you used the word investigate. So in this case investigate is looking into why the Autobots are gone, right?
So then you reply with this whole robots in disguise shit. Now unless you are making a point so shit that the only way to investigate the Autobots suddenly vanishing after having worked with humanity for like 3 years at that point, if not more, is by finding them yourself and asking, I think this entire error is on you.

If you are seriously making that point. Well then,
-KSI didn't have issues with finding them so why would people investigating this?
-Why didn't they ask the people who worked closely with the Autobots?
-Why didn't the look inside the KSI facility and noticed the very obvious Autobot remains?
The Autobots suddenly vanish at the same time the Decepticons start getting hunted down and nobody questions why? Nobody asked where exactly they went? These are alien death machines who saved the planet 3 times in a row, goverment officials would have to be a special kind of stupid to not ask questions as to where these things are
I mean saying that the only way to figure it out is by looking for the Autobots yourself is fucking dumb as shit

Now because this point is so dumb I'm assuming that wasn't your intent. That error is on you because my OG point is easy to understand and if you don't get it then that's on you.
Let's also not ignore the fact I said "which had nothing to do with what I mean by "investigating."" Yet you didn't even bother asking "What did you mean by investigating then?" You just kept on going about a point that was irrelevant to what I said.

The flow of the argument was this (My points are bold, yours are italic)
KSI were hunting Autobots too under the guides of hunting Decepticons-So nobody asked questions as to where the Autobots went?-Goverments have done poor jobs investigating before all the time-This isn't just any job, this is banning an entire species from a planet, that's not the kinda job where people would do poorly at investigating it-Transformers are hard to find because they can transform
You brought up this "Transformers can hide easily" out of nowhere and had nothing to do with what I said.

What "every little detail they say" do I nitpick? You just say this shit without actually providing any actual examples of me doing so, which for someone so against group thinking is the same shit people like Zemah and Zark did (Guess that's why they keep liking your posts).
If my points are that poorly made, why are you still here arguing with me? Why do you actively ignore and glance over multiple points I've made?
Here I'll actually give some examples:
-When you said world wars were recent and I said "Recent as in the last one was well over 80 years ago and has changed the way humanity works for forever. There's a reason there hasn't been a world war in 80 years because of how impactful the last one was"
-Me saying that Dino not dying because of Ferrari is irrelevant because what happens in the movie is what matters
You do this in other threads as well, but I can't be fucked to look into them although I'm more than willing to if needed.

If you wanna talk about issues in arguing, you're no stranger to going off of on tangent about things that have jackshit to do with the original argument like when you bitched about Animated Beachcomber for whatever reason. Which is what I originally assumed you were doing with this whole "Robots in disguise" shit. You're not some flawless debater either despite what you'd like to think.
Get off your high horse and stop acting like you're any better than me.

Then this whole thing is just a waste of time because the thing you reply to was me saying "The entire Autobot army." The Autobots on Earth are pretty much the entire Autobot army.
We've seen that even in low numbers they can take on enemy forces with much higher unit counts. Strength in numbers doesn't matter here
Also I'm pretty sure for Grimlock or Unicron you could use terms like "One man army"
Hardly is just another word for barely, barely getting a good grade still means you have a good grade.

Ignoring the fact that I shitpost a lot here meaning I got at least some kind of humor. What false info? The fact I forgot Que existed or the fact I miswrote some shit?

Or maybe you're just not that funny

    1. The designs are inspirational, The bay movies gave us a lot of new designs that i think lots of people should appreciate and admire, you need to look at the designs different to understand.

    2. N.e.s.t, i like the idea of transformers working with the military to help train, fight, locate decepicons.

    3. Blackout, he may be silent and violent but thats it.

    4. Bonecrusher, he's just angry.

    5. Crosshairs, personality.

    6. This is a less popular opinion, the fallen and his brothers.

    7. Dotm city battle, i love the aspect of a deceptcon city invasion.

    8. Sentinel prime, betrayed the autobots.

    9. Bumblebee, losing his voice.

    10. Megatron chasing the allspark and crash landing on earth and getting frozen underneath the ice for thousands of years.

Those are my favourite aspects, i do have more i can't really think.

Me Grimlock think that is smartest thing I ever done!

Yes, because humans are flawed creatures who make mistakes in judgment and view things subjectively. That's how innocent people get convicted of crimes. That's how inmates can escape from prisons, or high profile inmates on suicide watch like Epstein die. That's how some people who have committed mass shootings were reported due to behavioral reasons before the fact, and law enforcement agencies often didn't follow up fully...and yet, these people later committed mass murder!

You are not thinking this through. At all.

If you were to investigate the whereabouts of the Transformers on Earth, how would you do that? Potential witnesses coming forward (ie. the CW "Report Alien Activity" number), Energon detectors (which are located at certain locations and not everywhere), drones (like the ones seen when Lockdown and CW are hunting), etc. However, given the ability of Transformers to disguise themselves as vehicles and machines and their consequent camouflage and mobility, and given their very low numbers on Earth, that is something easier said than done. Looking for a Transformer on Earth after DotM is like looking for a saola in the jungles of Vietnam or a live giant squid in the deep. In other words, it's not easy. Add to the fact CW is hunting the Autobots and lying to others ...both in the government and in KSI...that they are only hunting Decepticons, do you think Cemetery Wind would pass on any intelligence to other government agencies about the Autobots' whereabouts? I don't. And CW's conspiracy wouldn't make investigating the Autobots' whereabouts easier for other parties. The opposite.

The robots KSI was melting down were billed as being Decepticons, to the point Darcy, who works for KSI, thought Ratchet was a Decepticon!

The alliance between the Autobots and the U.S. government was ended after DotM! Not to mention the Autobots were autonomous, even during the days of N.E.S.T., to the point their survival in DotM after the Xanthium's destruction was unknown until the human protagonists approached Chicago and they would sneak off to sabotage a nuclear facility in the Middle East!

There are such things as due process and reasonable searches and seizures you know. You would need reasonable suspicion to perform a proper investigation of KSI, and that would mean facts and not just a mere hunch or guess. And with an employee workforce who thought they were only melting Decepticons and not Autobots, and Megatron and Sentinel being attained from government contracts and not illegal activity per se, there might not have been any reasonable suspicion until the Autobots infiltrate KSI and the whole Galvatron fiasco happens.

The Autobots were autonomous, and the alliance had been abandoned. And we are talking robots in disguise hidden from the eyes of most of the populace, not billboards and tourist attractions.

Plus, how do we know they didn't ask questions? Just because they asked questions, it doesn't mean they weren't lied to, or that their search went nowhere. If flesh-and-blood human beings can disappear and go missing, and if whole species can remaind undocumented for decades, I think transforming robots in disguise could remain hidden.

Man, you really do have no idea what you're talking about. I never said that, ever.

    LoL. "OG point." LoL

And yet Jeffrey Epstein can die while on suicide watch. And yet large freshwater animals, like the baiji and Chinese paddlefish, can go extinct almost unnoticed on one of the busiest rivers in the world in recent years. And yet ISIS can destroy whole ancient cities like Nimrod, and their destruction isn't realized in the modern world.

If someone can die on suicide watch in a high security prison, and important evidence is missing, then I can believe the rarity of Transformers on Earth combined with their disguises and mobility could make them hard to find in an official investigation. Investigating Transformers on Earth after DotM is like looking for a needle in a hay stack.

If my points are that poorly made, why are you still here arguing with me? [/QUOTE]

Question: why did you start arguing with me? You realize you can just ignore what I say. Me arguing with your posts is not evidence that they aren't poorly written.

What a crock of shit. So I have to respond to every repeating element in your posts separately. What a joke...

    Stop projecting.

It's called using an analogy. Are you capable of understanding analogies?

But let's get back to the point of this thread: good ideas the movies had. That's why I first posted in this thread, and it's the reason why I posted in this thread until you, rather than accepting something another fan thought was a good idea, started the tedious multiquoting just to get in argument. And in my opinion Lockdown and Cemetery Wind hunting down the Autobots under the guise of hunting Decepticons and KSI using the remains to build their own Transformers is not only a good idea that logically follows from DotM; it's also much better executed than given credit by the fandom and critics. I gave my opinion, and it's a valid one, and I gave my reasoning.

Boom. End of. Have a Shrektastic night!

I have no idea why I have to say this like 50 million times but when it comes to Alien death machines capable of destroying the planet, that's not something you'd fuck up on

I'm not working for the goverment so can't say how I'd do it. However, literally just bringing up the point of "Hey uh, why did the Autobots suddenly vanish? Should we not try to figure that?" Should already do a lot.
You could say they did do that and KSI just never claimed they found an Autobot, but when they've been doing this for god knows how long and claim to have never found an Autobotm somebody would probably try to figure out if they're been truthful.

That's the dumbest shit ever. Ratchet was one of the first Autobots on Earth and worked publicly for the Autobots for like 7 years. Plenty of people in Chicago, Egypt, whatever city was in the first movie saw him. Her not knowing he is an Autobot just makes her a moron.

So? Does that mean the goverment just went "lol bye"?
Also how does this counter what I said at all? Literally just one chat with Lennox or left cheek guy could help you out a lot.

I'm pretty sure any reasonable person would think it's a good idea to reguraly check on the people you put in charge for getting rid of an alien species that could destroy the planet

I don't see how this counters my point at all

How do we not know they had a rave party where they worshipped a picture of Optimus Prime?
We don't see it in the movie, that's what matters

I mean maybe, but after three events that could've ended the world these things should be priority number 1. Plus humans and giant robots are very different things

You implied it. Plus that's why I said "This probably wasn't the point you were trying to make"

I fail to see the issue here

    Jeffrey Epstein isn't a Transformer
You can keep dancing about this all you want but the fact is that KSI slaughtered a fuckload of Transformers between DOTM and AOE, that goes against your point of saying they're super difficult to find.

Cause I want too. Nice question dodge by the way

When those points go against you and you then go on and bitch about how bad my points are, yes.

What are you replying to here? I didn't say that.

My guy that may had started as an analogy but turned into a tangent that was irrelevant to the argument.
I like how this condescending shit is allowed but me calling you a dickhead isn't

You replied in a thread where you posted an opinion. People are allowed to argue with that opinion.
Plus, if you don't like an argument, then just don't reply. I mean my points are so shit already according to you I fail to see why you would reply then.
Also are you that insecure about your own opinion you feel the need to state it's a valid one?

Just because something shouldn't be botched doesn't mean it can't be botched. Things that shouldn't be botched get botched all of the time. Even major things get botched. Governments and organizations are not infallible. On the contrary, they make major, major mistakes all of the time. This isn't a political thing. This is the reality of a world where governments and organizations are made up of flawed and fallible people.

And I think that's a problem with a lot of the criticism the Cemetery Wind/Lockdown hunting robots on Earth story. I think people are thinking just because such things shouldn't happen that it means they couldn't happen, when sometimes everything or almost everything that can go wrong does go wrong. Or they think that because they wouldn't betray the Autobots that there aren't human beings who wouldn't. And sometimes, ambitious and treacherous people find themselves in places of power, and bad things happen. It's happened many times in real life, and it happens in Age of Extinction, too.

LoL. Just because some people who are characters in the movies might no who Ratchet is (Sam, N.E.S.T., Mikaela), it doesn't mean all or even most people would recognize the individual Transformers or what faction they were a member of.

Are we shown ANY media footage of Ratchet in any of the movies? No! Even if the general public was aware of Transformers after RotF, that doesn't mean all of the individual Transformers were known to the general public. There's absolutely ZERO indication the general public knew about Ratchet specifically, even if they knew about the existence of Transformers.

Lennox was a part of the group for which the alliance was disbanded! Just because he once worked with the Autobots, it doesn't mean he knew about their whereabouts after their alliance was disbanded!

Except we are shown that? What do you think the White House official asking Attinger about how the hunting of the Decepticons is going actually is? It's showing that CW is being asked about how the robot war stuff is going. The same thing when Attinger addresses some people and says, "A handful of Autobots were granted sanctuary after joint operations were abolished." Based on what we see and hear in the movie, other officials were told the Autobots were given sanctuary, and that Cemetery Wind was hunting down the Decepticons alone; Lockdown's involvement was a secret. The Seed deal was a secret. CW hunting Autobots was a secret.

This is what I'm talking about you making stuff up and/or not knowing what you're talking about.

    1. Jeffrey Epstein was a person on suicide watch in high security prison with cameras, regular checks by security guards, etc. My point is, if something can happen to a high profile individual under such high security, then I think robots capable of great mobility who can disguise themselves as Earth's machinery can have their whereabouts unknown by governments. And once again, I am using an analogy to show why I think such things are possible.

    2. What's this "KSI slaughtered a f*ckload of Transformers" nonsense? Because it was Lockdown and Cemetery Wind who were hunting the Transformers on Earth. KSI merely experimented with and melted down the bodies of robots they were given by government contracts and CW. Furthermore, we don't know that it was a "f*ckload," because we are only shown the deaths of two Autobots, and there weren't many Transformers on Earth anyway. All of the big name Decepticons were dead. The Decepticons shown in Chicago were killed (other than Barricade apparently sneaking away and having a new robot mode by TLK, but that wasn't even a thing until the following movie).

    3. Just because some robots were discovered and ambushed by Cemetery Wind (Optimus, Leadfoot, Ratchet), it doesn't mean finding them was easy in the first place. It might have taken months or years to find them and catch up to them. That's why there was that number to call, by which Lucas tipped them off.

I'm not saying Lockdown and CW didn't kill more robots than shown, because it's likely they did. I'm saying that you can't say definitively they killed a f*ckload when we are only showing two getting killed and there likely weren't many Transformers left around on Earth to begin with.

No I don't. You're not the dictator of this forum. Especially when most of the time I would be responding to things you have already said anyway, so what's the point of repeating myself that I already said in the same post? Nothing. There's absolutely no point to it, especially given how circular your arguments are.

Condescending? If you don't know the difference between calling out someone for their questionable posting behavior and hurling insults, I don't know what to tell you.

It's not called "insecurity." It's called "clarification."

But my point stands. You posted this thread with the intent for people to state good ideas the movies have, which is what I and most others have done, but apparently, you can't seem to handle someone posting their opinion in here without turning it into an argument that really has nothing to do with the thread topic. If you want to keep derailing your own thread, by all accounts keep acting as you have been acting on here. I, however, came into this thread to discuss the thread topic, which is good ideas the movies had, and I think the movies had both good ideas that were executed well (Sentinel Prime, Lockdown and Cemetery Wind hunting the Transformers on Earth, etc.) and ones that weren't executed well (Nemesis Prime, which on one hand was a logical follow up to the Creators wanting to control their creations, but on the other hand was depicted in such an anti-climatic and rushed fashion in the finished movie).

I entered this thread. I gave my opinions. Either get back to your own thread topic, or get Shrekt, argument-wise!

There's a difference between a botched job and literally not even trying.
Plus we are not shown any of this, we don't know if someone "treacherous" is in charge. It's like you justify these movies with things that don't even happen in the movies.

Given how public the Transformers were (Chicago, Shanghai, the city in the first movie) I highly doubt that.

I only argued Darcy, not the general public. That being said I do find it dumb someone who was so close to the CEO of the company making human robots doesn't know that Ratchet is an Autobot

Now you could say she didn't know because of her job, but that goes against your original point, so
When someone goes missing, who do investigators contact? Parents, family, relatives, people who knew them.

You're arguing something else because what I said was the facility itself, not just talking with the most obviously shady evil bad guy man on the planet.
Yet nobody decided to check out this sanctuary btw.

I'm not gonna even touch this shit because the Epstein thing is massive ass conspiracy theory I refuse to get into.

Imagine saying somebody nitpicks and then doing the same thing yourself. It's heavily implied the other Autobots were killed, I mean look at the dumbass card thing mcbaddy bad man had. The whole Autobot army I consider a fuckload. Also I'm pretty sure not every single Decepticon actually died.

5 years, that's not much when you're hunting down this many Transformers.

The hell did this dictator shit come from? I think it's dumb as shit to ignore points cause you (presumably) can't say shit back against it and then bitch about me having poor arguments.

Despite the fact you're the only one I actively responded to?

This is a forum, a discussion forum. If I don't agree with you then I'm more than allowed to say so.

God someone needs to get that foot out of your ass

I meant "treacherous" in the sense of betraying the Autobots. My point stands.

So just because some people saw the robots in action, it means that everyone, including Darcy, recognizes every single Transformer in every battle? Answer: it doesn't.

Also, you do realize the Shanghai and Mission City battles were covered up, at least to some degree? It's not until the Fallen's appearance and ttack on Earth that knowledge of Transformers becomes more widespread.

Because people not in on the conspiracy were told the remains being harvested for Transformium were those of Decepticons. Darcy wasn't in on the conspiracy. She didn't know they were hunting and melting down Autobots. She didn't know about Lockdown. Facts. Get Shrekt!

    No it doesn't.

As I previously said, and as shown as in the movie itself, the Autobots were being hunted under the guise of hunting Decepticons. Darcy was under the impression that Ratchet's remains were those of a Decepticon. There's no contradiction whatsoever.

And I'm saying that after an alliance is ended, allies may not know of their former ally's whereabouts. Even if they did ask Lennox, that might have been a dead lead.

Who said it was a specific physical sanctuary? Just because someone is offered sanctuary, it doesn't mean they are in a specific compound.

The point is not whether the conspiracies are true or not. The point is his death is a huge screw up and fail of epic proportions if it's a suicide, and it's a conspiracy of epic proportions if it's a homicide. So if massive screw ups or conspiracies can happen in real life...and it's one or the other in some shape or form...why is suddenly a conspiracy involving robots in disguise this completely unbelievable scenario in a franchise filled with hundreds of scenarios less likely to happen in the real world?

I never said it wasn't implied. I'm saying it's not a huge amount, given the small amount of Autobots on Earth to begin with.

Fewer than a dozen Autobots is not a "f*ckload" by any stretch.

There are only two northern white rhinos known to be alive on Earth. They are a mother and daughter who live on a conservancy in Kenya. If a poacher shot and killed both of them, would he have killed off the subspecies? Yes. But would he have killed a "f*ckload?" No. Two rhinos is not a "f*ckload." Fewer than a dozen Autobots is not a "f*ckload."

Did I say every Decepticon was killed in DotM and AoE? No, otherwise I would not have mentioned TLK Barricade, but they were absolutely devastated as a faction in the Chicago battle.

I am a person. I fall under "someone."

Besides, I think you're specifically responding to me just to start shit.

And did I say you weren't allowed? No, but if you're going to derail your own topic, you might want to try a different strategy.

Yes, someone does need to get their foot out of their ass, but it isn't me.

Again, I can't force anyone to stop replying to anyone else but if you guys cannot talk to each other without snark and veiled insults it's probably better to just put each other on ignore or agree to disagree.

    So does mine

Ratchet stands out quite a bit given his color scheme. And once again Darcy dated the dude in charge of the company making these bots. She's bound to know at the very least something

Don't remember that ever being said but could've been some throwaway dialogue. Point is plenty of people did see the battles and Chicago wasn't covered up.

Hate to break your bubble here but what you just said has barely anything to do with what I said. I never said she knew they were hunting down Decepticons. The movie states so otherwise. The only thing I said was that I find it odd she doesn't know that Ratchet is an Autobot given the fact she dated the dude in charge of this company, who is bound to have knowledge about Transformers. I'm not saying she knew as much as him but they were bound to talk about it eventually.
That being said I find this point pretty weak myself because I'm mainly arguing something here about a point I don't think works at all. She's a geologist, which means traveling a lot. Of course she doesn't know this stuff well.

I'm pretty sure at this point your whole "u SaY tHinGs tHaT aRenT trUE oR yoU MaDE TheM uP!!" is you just not reading what I actually wrote.

She's a geologist, which means traveling a lot. Of course she doesn't know this stuff well. She is a bad example of public knowledge.

Point is they most likely didn't. Again zero investigation was done when it came to the Autobots outside of CW.

What the hell is this point.
I never said it was a compound.

Again I refuse to comment on this because of how big this rabbit hole is and cause I don't know jack shit about it. Me answering that question would require me to jump into that hole.

Are you seriously gonna argue the definition of one word after bitching about me nitpicking

Never said you didn't say that.

    What

If only I gave a shit about what you think of me and my intentions

    Then stop bitching about it
You're also assuming my goals here, this stopped being about the OG topic a long time ago and frankly I really don't care

    Yeah, keep telling yourself that

And before Cade shows the mini-drone footage of Ratchet to the Autobots, there's no indication he knows who Leadfoot was beyond the fact they were Autobots due to stating so when they were being attacked. There's no evidence the general public knew who all of the individual Autobots after Chicago. You are jumping to a flimsy conclusion that is not supported by the movie. In fact, Darcy not recognizing Ratchet as an Autobot suggests that who was who among all of the Autobots was not universally known.

    LoL.

If someone dated an agent from the FBI or CIA, would they know everything their romantic interest knew or was working on? It's silly to presume Darcy must have known something about what Joshua Joyce was doing just because there's some implication they might have dated.

Then pay attention! Don't falsely accuse others who clearly remember the movies better than you do of not watching the movies, as you have in previous posts.

Something I have stated before many times. Get Shrekt!

This has to be one of the most nonsensical points I have ever seen on this website.

So because Darcy is a geologist, and she travels for work, she consequently doesn't know what's going on with the Transformers? That makes ZERO logical sense.

Darcy's lack of knowledge regarding the operations of Cemetery Wind have NOTHING to do with her profession as a geologist and EVERYTHING to do with the fact she is not a part of the conspiracy and has been told the remains that are being melted down are those Decepticons. EVERYONE not in on the conspiracy was told that Decepticons were being hunted and melted down IF they were told anything at all.

My point was that just because someone or some people were given sanctuary, it doesn't mean that their whereabouts are known.

Because you are acting both arrogant and ignorant. I suggest you change your attitude, because so far, you haven't backed most of the things you're saying up.

So you start thread topics, and you don't care about how off topic they get? So what's the point of even starting a topic then?

I can be fairly blunt, and let me tell you something: you are either not being completely honest, or you are acting delusional and not fully self aware as to what you are actually saying. Which is it?

Soundwave the satellite, Laserbeak repeatedly shifting forms to sneak into human settlements to assassinate key targets, some design cues like rollerblade swordsbots or the whipping pogo-bot, a Lockheed Sr-71 as an alt mode (heck most of the vehicles in general are great, such as bonecrusher's and DOTM Megatron) and that one time they just whipped out a three-headed dragon robot.

    Delightful.

I like how the movies introduced the idea of Transformers individually traveling through space, but not necessarily being able to assume flight forms. Space flight and in-atmosphere flight are totally different after all, but Transformers has historically treated them as interchangeable. I don't dislike Transformers having ships of course, I just think it's a neat concept to be able to get characters to Earth without needing to give them a star ship.

I also like how Bumblebee avoided the issue of jet TFs being similarly sized to car TFs by just having them turn into undersized jets (and helicopters) that aren't used for disguise, just transportation. Even Blitzwing was about half the size of a real Phantom. Outside of TF1 I don't recall any jets ever being used for disguise anyway, since they're usually so far away and so fast you can't tell at a glance if it's undersized or not. I can't even watch a helicopter land at the hospital and tell how big it is unless I see someone next to it.

What do you mean no indication? He never asks "wait whos dat" or "i know dat guy" or hints at either option.
This whole point is literally just nothing

She had full access to the building as shown in the movie. Most people who date FBI or CIA members aren't allowed to visit their facilities. Infact it's said she's digging for transformium, so she did have some ties, just not to the conspiracy

Your seriously expect me to know every bit of dialogue from 5 movies, 2 of which hitting the 3 hour mark, just for some dumbass internet argument? Are you nuts?
How about you provide some actual evidence that this line was even said
Also the fuck are you on about what me accussing people of not watching the movies, I didn't do that

So me getting "shrekt (Jesus Christ I can't believe I'm actually talking to a person who says get shrekt not once, but twice)" is by you proving something I never said. Uh huh.

No, you just don't actually know what I meant.
The only thing I said was that it was likely she didn't know details other people of the public would know because of the fact she travels as much as she does. I imagine a geologist doesn't exactly always have time for stuff like that. Seems like a very busy job where you're always going from one side of the planet to the other

    wha
If they wanted them gone and gave them sanctuary of course they'd know where it is how fucking dumb is this point i just what

Neither have you. Thing is nothing is stopping you from asking for sources
What do you want me to bow down to you and go "oh please great galvatrosss! please enlighten me of your great knowledge of these movies! ill follow you to robot heaven!"
    Fuck that

No, not really. I stopped caring about this thread like 2 days after I made it.

No the thing is is that you literally don't read what I say, make a point that's irrelevant and then bitch and moan and be a condescending asshole. Look back at our posts. How many times do I have to say "No that's not what I said" or "That has nothing to do with what I said"? Meanwhile you continue to ignore the points you can't argue back against while screeching about my way of arguing, while also still being here arguing against me. Have some of my advice: Shut the hell up and focus on your own way of arguing instead of others. Cause yours is becoming more shit by the minute.
You're off your fucking rockers if you unironically call me "delusional" or "not fully self aware", dude

This is one of the problems. You are not providing ANY evidence as to how the general population knew who Ratchet was, because there is no indication.

In order to say that the general population knew the identities and appearances of Ratchet and other Autobots, you have to provide evidence that the general population knew Ratchet's identity. And yet, there is not one instance of a single human being in all four movies who wasn't already friends with the Autobots or a part of a Transformers-connected organization who knew who Ratchet was specifically. Where is that evidence? Answer: there is NO evidence.

Sam Witwicky and Mikaela are introduced to the Autobots in the first movie. They know who Ratchet is. The N.E.S.T. guys worked with the Autobots; Lennox knew Sideswipe and Ratchet.

However, there is ZERO indication Cade knew who Ratchet was before he befriended the Autobots. It's not until after he witnesses the footage that he mentions his name! The fact Darcy mentions the scarcity of Transformium being the reason they are hunting and melting down Decepticons as Ratchet's head is being melted indicates she had no idea Ratchet was an Autobot and didn't recognize him as a specific robot.

You mean like everything you're saying in this thread?

My point is that working with dead robots and Transformium would still almost certainly be a "hush hush" thing, ESPECIALLY given Joshua Joyce was engaged in some shady deals. If you are involved in some shady work or stuff that is highly confidential or classified, you likely don't go into great detail when talking about it to others who aren't doing what you do.

Also, just because she was shown the head of Megatron by Joshua and saw Ratchet being melted (whom she thought was a Decepticon before Cade told her), it doesn't mean she had full access to every room in the building. It was like being given a tour. That's what it was for both Darcy and the audience: a tour about Transformium and KSI's efforts to build their own Transformers.

NONE of the movies hit the three hour mark. AoE is the longest at two hours and forty five minutes including the credits. I'm not saying they're not well past the two hour mark, because they are all over two hours in length. I'm just saying none of them are as long as three hours.

I didn't say you said that exact line, but you have made comments that suggested I had not watched the movies in recent times.

In another thread, you posted this:

What was the worst aspect of the Bay movies

At the bottom of that post, you say the following:

"How long has it been since you've even seen these movies. Seems like what you think they are has just mutated in your head."

The way you word that post, it makes it seem like you are claiming I have not been watching the movies in recent times for some reason, as if I have no idea what I'm talking about, because I think their biggest flaw is trying too hard to appeal to fans. And yet, I am very familiar with the movies. I have seen every single one of the movies many times. I am familiar with a lot of the behind-the-scenes content, and so I know a lot of the intentions of the film makers in many, although not all, instances, as some of my ideas are things that have not been proven, but for which there is absolutely evidence to support them.

You should try to have some fun with puns and terminology! You don't want to get too Shrekt!

As someone who knows A LOT about geology and the geology industry and has experience in that field, let me tell you that just because someone travels a lot, it doesn't mean they don't know what's going on in the world. These aren't the old days of carrier pigeons and the Pony Express or smoke signals. We're talking a field where modern communications and technology is incredibly important. Depending on your job description within the industry, you might need to be extremely up-to-date on rules and regulations or on the price markets for metals and nonmetals.

So yes, I would consider a geologist like Darcy no less representative of the general public's knowledge about individual Transformers than a doctor or a mailman or bartender.

    How do you know?

If you have a small number of robots from Cybertron, and they are autonomous, and they have the ability to disguise themselves and use their alternate modes to travel great distances at great speeds often, do you think the government knows their whereabouts 24/7, 365/year? Yes, there are Energon detectors, but Transformers need to be in their vicinity for them to be triggered. Yes, there are such things as trackers...but we see in The Last Knight that Bumblebee was not being actively tracked until TRF shoots him with a little tracker to discover the Autobots' whereabouts. That suggests that Bumblebee wasn't being actively tracked before TRF placed a tracker on him.

In fact, the fact Lockdown had to ask Ratchet about Prime's whereabouts as well as the cards saying Bee was last seen in Chicago suggest the Autobots weren't actively being tracked after DotM. Especially given they were probably respected as autonomous sentient beings by at least some agencies. Of course, Cemetery Wind and TRF, who didn't value the Autobots, had no qualms about killing them or tracking Transformers. Howeverm the Autobots were autonomous and no longer a part of N.E.S.T., and they were given sanctuary, and their status as autonomous beings was respected, that very well could include some privacy of sorts. You see what I mean?

Of course, "a handful of Autobots" given sanctuary was almost certainly a cover for the fact Lockdown and Cemetery Wind were hunting Autobots. They were probably never given sanctuary. That was in all likelihood another lie, just like the lie they were after a Decepticon target when they were after Optimus.

I never said do that. I don't want you to do that.

However, I do want you to stop the insults, and I do want you to actually take your time to post properly and organize what you are saying and back up your opinions and arguments with facts. I think you're posting as fast as you can given how quickly you have responded in some instances with walls of text, which doesn't help make your posts easily understandable.

Then don't make threads if you don't care about them going off topic.

You are often making the some point multiple times within a single post. It's absolutely redundant to make the same response to different parts of the same post twice.

I explained to you why you provided no evidence from the movies for your idea that the general public would recognize who Ratchet was, despite there being some evidence to the contrary. I have given plenty of evidence. And be a better member here if you want to spend some time on here.

So no, I won't, "Shut the hell up." I'm here to discuss Transformers. I'm here to share my opinions and ideas. I'm here to have a Shrektastic time and joke about Shrek and other things. If you want to keep on talking, I suggest getting back to the subject of this thread: good ideas the movies had.

I don't think you should be telling other they're off their rockers, especially given I just saw your profile statuses saying, "You ever just dont wanna exist anymore," and. "when you wanna die but death scares you." Do you have some genuine mental health issues you need addressed? Because those aren't the kinds of things fans would normally post on a site like this publicly. Your posting behavior combined with your attitude make me a little concerned for your well being. If you do have mental health issues at the moment, I hope you get the help you need. Or you are simply trolling and trying to be edgy. I don't know, but your posting behavior is a little concerning.

I've never said everybody knew Ratchet and his name. All I said was that because of the fact that because Ratchet worked with the Autobots for 7 years, and seeing as they don't really care how destructive their public appearances are, people are bound to at least recognize him.

How do you not get sick of your own shit

How does this disprove my point? She had full access to the building and was searching for transformium.

Pretty sure she was walking about on her own when looking at Ratchets head

Since you bitched about me nitpicking I'm gonna do it every single time you do it too.

So when I do it you cry about it but when you do it it's a okay, not surprised. This was also a one time thing, not multiple times.
Y'know I really do wonder why you feel the need to say your points have evidence and shit all the time, is it ego or insecurity?

God you're so unfunny it hurts
Also just gonna note the fact you didn't acknowledge you messing up and countering a point I never made.

And seeing as you didn't really provide anything besides "info everywhere" I don't agree. I know less about shit happening in a certain country than someone who lives in said country. Not saying the Autobots were only active in one country but when you're constantly moving you're bound to have less knowledge than those who live in the country these things happened

I mean the fact Optimus was considered to be on Earth illegally this whole sanctuary excuse made no goddamn sense from the beginning
Got no idea why the hell you wrote all this shit down but whatever

    Okay, dad
I don't care what you want from me, especially when you're being as condenscending as you are without backing up as to why.

You don't get to decide what I do

    Any examples?
Cause every single time you ignored my shit from what I recall it was because you probably couldn't counter it

No you haven't? You mostly just say this shit. When you do provide "evidence" I counter it.

Here you go missing what I said again.
I said you need to shut the hell up about "uR pOinTs Bad!!!" cause it's condescending as all hell and ironically what you said I was doing, reptitive.
