I feel like if these were 10% bigger, they could share a shelf with WFC figures. They'd just need to have based the scale around the comics Marvel Legends figures with the "average" figure at 6.5". I'd have been excited about that. As a separate line, I'm less interested. In part because I don't trust the line to go more than 20 characters deep in any iteration which means, for me, ideally, it'd be better if these displayed in a way where WFC could be used to fill character gaps.

For my pre-orders they are saying early march... I don't really trust that though, so if I had to guess, probably early next year. If we are really lucky, maybe around holiday time, but I doubt it.

I talked a lot of shit about this line, but they vanished from the one Walmart that got them here in less than a week. I guess they also lucked out and hit while we haven’t had any new product since Q1 so people were desperate for something new.

In one of the youtube reviews, Soundwave's arms look short and stubby when next to his side, same as Prime and Megatron. Those first three just did not come out well.

That's probably the result of them replicating the toon aesthetic so closely and trying to make the figures long legged

Found Megatron, Prime and Soundwave on the shelf at my local Walmart tonight. I had talked myself out of getting them and cancelled my pre orders awhile ago, but I couldn't leave them behind once I had them in my hands. I haven't had a chance to open them yet, but they look pretty cool in the box.

Be sure to give your opinion when you open them please. I like to hear people’s in hand opinion then just from seeing videos or pictures of these.

I don't really know what to say about them. They are kind of just fine...... I'm glad I got them I guess. Nothing is overly loose of floppy. the arms are definitely too short. I think the arms are my least favorite thing about them. They do remind me of those old Takara mega PVC figures. These are like a nicer versions of those. The articulation is good, but not great. I can see leaving them on my desk to screw around with for awhile. If I had to give them a grade it would be a solid B. I think they will fit in nicely on an 80s themed shelf with that Super7 Voltron figure that came out a couple months ago.

Megatron is a good example of "so close, but so far." Chest and abdomen are just slightly off, too wide I think, and the arms are a bit stubby.
It's almost perfect, and that makes the few problems stand out much more. Shame, I really like the head sculpt. But for 30 bucks I'd expect a little better.
Arcee's definitely looking the best out of these, despite me wishing the pink was more prominent.

So I got Megatron today and feel iffy on him. Not sure if I got a QC issue with his ab crunch or not but there is no ratchet joint in it. From a few videos I have seen, TMAN978 showed his as having no ab crunch, while primevsprime had one with a ratcheted ab crunch. Kinda wonder if this is a running change or just QC. Anyone else who has them have the same issue?

I took my Prime figures out of storage the other day to set up a Prime display shelf, and realized I never got a blue Prime Arcee, just the 1st edition pink one.

Looked at reviews, pictures, then at inflated eBay prices on a blue deluxe Prime Arcee... I will just be subbing in the superior sweet looking R.E.D. Arcee for a cool 20, lol. :p

You should have clicks to the crunch of Megatron. 2 forward and 2 back.
EDIT: no clicks back. I have no idea why my phone changed no clicks to “2 back” :wtf:

Personal opinion: I like these guys, but they need better shoulders. They are simply to limiting for poses. The designs of the characters means obstruction. They need to be able to pull away from the body to get decent range of mobility on off angles.

RED is actually doing pretty alright, but isn't as much as Hasbro hoped (COVID is a big factor, so they're not killing the line that early)

I still have on pre order this line at Walmart.com but 2 days ago I saw these figures at my local Walmart and man... I have my doubts now because I saw the 3 figures and they look kind of cheap in terms of coloring... They kind of look pale, I don't know but they really don't look right to me... I'm thinking in cancelling my order on this... Maybe they release this figures for studio Series 86?
