Agreed. Nearly all those MP proto shots when blown up high res reveal areas of paint spluge or chipping on account of being hand painted.

I also think the face sculpts look at little off or "full" around the mouth in a couple of SS's faces here because the silver paint is clearly very heavily loaded.

Because, like the person that stated it, some people like those little added extras.

What!? Almost? Yeah, well, this figure looks only about 100 times better than Maketoys Meteor...but...you can have your opinion of course. That way it’s a fair play. I have said very good things about Meteor, but at the same time i have to remember that i have to be honest at all times. So, that’s why i’m gonna say the way it truly is on my opinion. Takara Tomy put their best on the table at this time. It will take a long time to beat this figure. At the same time i’m hoping that the figure has a good quality plastic. The desing of this figure is just awesome! I know that it seems that it has no waist shivel, but that is a minor thing. It has so much details, what really makes it feel like Starscream.

Does anyone know why flat-out searching MP-52 Starscream on Amazon Japan yields no results? I know there's a link but just seems strange...

I typed "transformers masterpiece" or "mp52 starscream" & I got results. That AJP search can get weird on occasion.

I reckon the Megatron gun will be a lighter grey to match MP-36 on the final model. What I really love about the gun is how they've matched the actual details from MP-36's alt mode, like they've even matched some of the transformation seams:

Not an exact replica, they changed the scope a little.

Also just spotted the little handle extension! A much nicer solution than the ugly diagonal split in the previous Megatron gun's handle, here the gun just rises up a little out of the handle!

Really hope that tab isn't too long for MP-44 to hold this gun too, has to be ok right?

Thank you, that worked! One more question - says it can't ship to my address - I believe other people had this issue but any solution?

We have to wait until the proper pre-orders go up on Amazon. A few of us are in the same boat, so don't worry it shouldn't be much longer :)

Regarding seam details: this little square next to the Decepticon symbol is taken from G1 Megatron’s toy gun mode. 229E5853-4A32-4047-AD0D-2177BE9BD32C.jpeg 0462FADA-2F96-45D6-97AB-08CE1DEA1E8D.jpeg

It's always Hasbro's fault. Fail 'Xaxis'. What is that anyway - that's not even a name, it's part of a graph.

Just like some people still don't get that history shows modern TT MP releases could and probably will have at least one flaw or area where paint will chip, and that a pre-production test shot of a figure just might, potentially, might just show up where said possible trouble spot could, in theory, potentially be. Potentially.

    Potentially.
