Yup, I am just excited at the thought of a re-release of sorts since I missed out on the previous release.

 

Basically, just scale up G1 Metroplex. Add some articulation but make the city mode the focus rather than robot. One of the strengths of the original is the versatility of its city mode - so many ways to configure it, between the guns and towers you could swap around and the ways to configure the legs. For all its additional size and cost, T30 Metro didn't even do everything the G1 toy could, and didn't accomplish what it could do as well. I'd honestly happily trade my T30 Metroplex for an OSKO of the original.

Metroplex needs to be a big playset that also has a robot mode, not a big robot that you can also turn into a playset.

And Hasbro needs to get back to Legends class/Cyberverse v1 to go with Metroplex. Standard CHUG scale is just too darn big - we need little bots (and cons) to populate him!

i'd rather have Majin Zarak, Chela, Vigilem, or Grand Mal Megatron happen before Hasbro decide the Titan Class isnt profitable anymore.

 

Honestly, I think a new version would be more solid. He is quite loose compared Skorp and Omega, but their transformations are quite simple with fewer overall parts compared to Metroplex. Metroplex engineering will always require sacrifices. It depends on you priorities, on this board I think most want good possibility in robot mode, but I have always liked base modes and interesting transformations. Don’t think we can get all three.
