I feel bad for Josh, he’s been making art for Transformers for years, and now he gets to do art for an ongoing of the Beast Wars revival and everyone is hating on him. :/

But are they going to give us a new animated series that runs concurrently with it. I doubt it, but a guy can dream. Still amazed they are giving us toys, despite being underwhelmed by a few of the releases.

Fuck me, it's thought police central in this thread. I just came to have a look at comics discussion but I should have remembered that IDW became absolute fucking cancer years ago to the point where it makes me want to drink bleach every time I read the more recent comics.

Josh's art is fine. The stories haven't been good in forever. I hope these comics are good but I doubt it. Otherwise, people need to calm the fuck down. If people want to say Beast Wars is shit, let them say it's shit. Who really cares? It's just a cartoon. If someone doesn't like what you like, you'll live. Unfortunately, because it'd be better without some of the people around here whining about anything and everything if someone dares have an opinion or use words they don't like.

Uh... I'm scared to go back through this thread. Y'all need to chill.

But I'm looking forward to the series. I haven't read much of the Ghostbusters crossover, but with the meandering pace of the main ongoing, I'm open to something different. Galaxies is very hit-or-miss thanks to the rotating creative teams and cast, so I'll take a more consistent alternative.

Honestly I just wish they finished releasing live-action stuff before going back to G1.
Give us BB Cybertron characters, Infernocus, Quintessa, The Fallen, Scalpel, TF5 characters even though I don't care for those, Dino, the rest of the Dinobots, and so on.

Still buying the G1 SS stuff, don't get me wrong.  

 

I'm assuming no, but we don't have too much information yet so I could be wrong. It looks to be a splinter continuity of the original BW cartoon-- something very similar with some additional characters like Nyx.

 

I was hoping it would focus on toy-only characters like in The Gathering/Ascending but I'm still looking forward to this.
