If you passed the first time, then why buy it now? The original is long sold out. I am honestly a little surprised Hasbro is importing it since it's minimally different than what was released not that long ago. It could have been like TakaraTomy's first Siege Nemesis Prime and not get any release and have minimal retailers importing at a higher amount than Soundblaster.
Who won't come with the trailer, and if you want a complete Nemesis you'll have to get the Spoiler pack (like getting dead prime to give sg prime a trailer) Maybe Hasbro heard the fan criticisms of them not releasing Siege Nemesis at the time but releasing all of Takara's other exclusives

Yeah. I like how we sweep genuinely hard to find figures like POTP wave 2 and complain about an exclusive pack that sat on Amazon for months until it went out of stock and all complained. The same thing happened to the coneheads. I just didn't give a shit when I saw him at walmart until I saw the Netflix show, and by then he was long gone.
Yea, he stuck around for awhile (I think a local walmart still had 2 like a month ago) but once he dried up he dried up
The Walmart exclusive version of Soundblaster shall now be New Soundwave and this Netflix "Rooster Teeth Are Cheap" version will be Soundblaster proper.
I think what happened was, no one was buying. Character has a fun appearance on the show and demand goes up. I had no interest till the show myelf. And am now glad I didn't get it now that this version is available.
I wanted the Walmart Soundblaster but did not buy it because of money at the time. Now it is sold out online, no Walmarts in my area, Ebay is more expensive. On Pulse it is under $54 total. Every where else it is $55+ before tax,S&H
Preordered thru Pulse. Doesn't come out until March so I have plenty of time to cancel if I change my mind. Didn't scroll thru all the posts to see if anyone else mentioned it was available there but thought it worth mentioning.
I think the complaining came from people outside the US, where the 35th anniversary series were very hard to find online, and at a markup.
Speaking for myself, I have absolutely no attachment to any previously existing version of the character. Earthmode away. I passed on the 35A version, but am grabbing this one. That'll do.
While people in the UK were begging for SS Rampage, I remember seeing a sighting of them on massive pallets in target at a discount.
