I'm on the fence. I finished my Seekers and Coneheads with the last mold. And damn it was an expensive task. This does look like the cartoon, but I really would hate to start all over again. I already went through the following timeline:
* buying the cartoon colored MP-3 Starscream walmart version with the leg attachments (Was on the late train so paid a tax)
* buying the Takara MP-6 Skywarp with the leg attachments (Still got it as the paint job is gorgeous)
* Selling the cartoon colored MP-3 Walmart Skywarp
* Buying the MP-11 TRU Thundercracker (Still got it. Have to decide what to do with it)
* Buying the MP-11 Takara Starscream
* Buying MP-11SW Skywarp
* Buying MP-11T as the coloring was more G1
* Buying the Takara Coneheads

So, yeah...repeating this timeline would suck. One thing I would like would be face upgrades for the MP-11 mold releases. Damn, these pics are tempting! The leg upgrades are a selling point along with the faces.

Really? That's different. No, usually the issue with Hot Rod is that he has to be transformed just right to get any ground clearance, and even then, the gap is measured in fractions of a millimetre.

Yeah I'm happy with my collection of all seekers. I like my Greenscream, my Wallscream, my Wally SKYWARP, TT MP-11+ TC, all just as much as I like my loose MP-11 as much as I like my sealed MP-11. But I do really think (or maybe it's just hope) this 52 will be my favorite for playing with plus it really POPS! I will say my favorite Transformer and toy is MP-1 CONVOY. Im currently looking for a fully sealed C-9 or better HASBRO 2004 MP OPTIMUS PRIME. Mine is mint in box, & I do have a MIB 2003 CONVOY as well.   MP44 PRIME

Heh. Hey I least I was correct about the hip skirts having 44's tooling/engineering.   A wired cape is definitely something I forsee coming within 1 -2 years. I'm thinking you'll be able to use the original as well.  

 

Huh? Starscream definitely does not have 44 style hip skirts. He's got traditional flaps.

The same thing happened to me. AJ usually only puts the preorder up a few days after all the other stores so I wasn't worried. I went to preorder and was all like WTF??? What is this a Bandai DX VF-1 preorder??? Oh well, here's hoping for several preorders on AJ like Arcee had.
