Two packages I posted yesterday have arrived and all's well, thanks to @SJW & @Skjalddis for your intrest! :)

Haven't heard back from the vet as yet but Oreo's still behaving normally which is helping to keep me from worrying too much. He usually stops halfway up the stairs to give his little legs a break for a few seconds but shot up them today in one go almost as fast as Rebecca usually does which was awesome so this adrenal gland thing isn't affecting his mobility or his appetite for that matter as he shovels his raw steak down with full enthusiasm.

Great to hear the little fella is in high spirits and doing well. Maybe he just wanted to reduce the wind resistance on that bit of his body so got rid of the fur so he can shoot up the stairs in one go. :p

He's clearly scooting up before you sweep him out to the vets again, just thankful you're not getting the chance!

It's amazing how dogs get a spurt after the vets, I'm convinced that they are trying to say "look, I'm fine, will you please piss off with that whole doctory thing? It truly is a bit if a pain in the arse" :lol  it can't just be a dog thing can it?

You know I would like to meet Sod and discuss his approach to law. I find it quite lacking.

One of my lovable bastards spent three weeks limping around (he's forever leaping forward and staving his front legs and I can't take him to the vet every 3 months), so off we went... £300 of time and X-rays etc and the daft arse was walking around perfectly the next day. Didn't know whether to hug him or slug him!

Course, needless to say, the vet suggested it could be 'growing pains', and if I just wanted to spend £45 every 3 months on a liquid version of those 45p a pack painkillers in Tesco... Er, no thanks. I can does weight calculations ;)

Funnily enough I dug out Heroquest and Space Crusade from the loft over lockdown to play with my son, he was an instant fan! Could be a slippery slope as those 2 games were my gateway to Warhammer back in the day, and if the lad follows suit that is an expensive hobby to get into... As if keeping up with all these TF exclusives wasn't hurting my wallet enough!

Blimey that Haslab redo is expensive! But having just looked up the prices of the original on eBay I can see why! I'm sitting on a small fortune with my original releases and expansion packs :p

I needed that! Just took my internet router and dropkicked it for being the technology equivalent of a certain bug doing the rounds... Guess what's working better than ever!

On the way to Newcastle from which direction? Anyhow my guesses to that clue are Castlewellan, then Ballynahinch!

I can tell you one thing, there is definitely not a Toymaster in Ballynahinch.

Yeah, I still have mine, more or less (tiles lost, swords and skeletons broken...) and am planning some games soon because of this new version (but before I knew it was getting a UK distributor).

The paint jobs on the old miniatures aren't great and I was in the process of cleaning them off to redo them. Then there's replacing the broken weapons: tried casting some surviving ones with mixed results (tiny blades are tricksy).

On the plus side, the old version has figures otherwise lost to time - and licensing restrictions. Chaos Warriors FTW!

Think I've been to the cinema 3 times since the end of lockdown (one Vue the other two Cineworld) last time was last night to see Bill & Ted. The price drop to £5 a ticket would be doing gangbusters if there weren't a pandemic on. I enjoy the cinema screena nd seeing something with full surround sound like that rahter than in my living room, feels more of an experience but it feels more dangerous now to take a sip from a water bottle. it's the theatres I feel sorry for more than the cinemas, all the tech expertiese that's simply going to be lost because of the lack of insight into the value of culture. But that's as far as I'll go.

Anyway, this thread needs more photos:

    CC59AA6F-FC80-458B-B37E-6CCAA397283D.jpeg
Ordered another Rotorstorm earlier from Comics & Cocktails eBay (was simpler than going to find the site then creating an accont etc, the price of convenience) simply because of the upgrade kit I just ordered from Shapeways, Heavy/Scratch: - TheSledgeHammer's Forge - 2018 & Beyond! Shapeways Thread
Those kit pieces cost me £50 after shipping, officially done with Shapeways now, I could have bought a 3D printer with the last couple of orders I've made and files to print to boot!

What I'd like to do is see about setting up as a business in 3D printing as a rival to Shapeways doing my best not to overprice everythign like Shapeways does at the moment.

For now I’ll get a printer with the view to make it my Christmas project to learn how to use it properly

Super Megatron is a bit of all right isn't he?

    20201008_183445.jpg

Or is it Ultra Megatron like this? I think that's the souped up version with more guns and jagged edges. I like the options for his robot mode, and the fact that the head spins round and so does his forehead crest, gives it that extra detail for anime(manga) accuracy.

I definitely prefer the more G1 looking chest and head, and I like that his big floppy wings compact as much as they do. If I had to criticise the legs do look a bit Galvatron still, but that's more forgivable than the horrible empty forearms. It's a classy expensive price point exclusive toy, he really needed forearm flaps at this price point.

Also got Rung, Slitherfang, and my Skywarp and 'Cracker two-pack. Thanks IDToys.

Going away from Warrenpoint is the direction I was driving. There were a load of British flags, if that helps!

Kilkeel. Exactly half Catholic, half Protestant, but both sides in that place sure like to declare their allegiance. Likely most inbred town in NI due to their isolation!

Had both heroquest, two of its expansion packs and space crusade as a teen. Loved them both but my mum and dad got rid of them of them when I moved out. The transformers and Star Wars were saved because I took them with me wherever I moved but the other stuff that I left behind (heroquest, space crusade, games workshop stuff, mask, motu, action force, lego) were never to be seen again. Went looking in recent years but no joy.

I too headed to eBay for heroquest and space crusade but was put off by those high prices!

in tf related news, got these yesterday. I think beachcomber is my favourite but I love how faithful the vehicle mode of windcharger is to the g1 toy.

did I imagine it or are the Autobot clones getting a re-release in WFC, like wingspan and pounce?
