About 6600 yen I think but, I think the cost of shipping went up from 1300 to almost 2000.

maybe. from previous experience, amazon always comes out slightly cheaper than Anime Export after all is said and done. i've ordered from both places. Anime Export has a higher MSRP with a 30% discount. Amazon has a lower listed MSRP with about a 27%-30% discount. one thing for sure is Amazon does adjust pricing with a preorder discount so i'm not worried about paying the initial amount of when i placed the order.

So... are we looking at 28000 yen then? Good, that's better than I expected. I'm sooo glad we've seen him with the intakes sat further forward because the more I see them set back the more I fee like I just wouldn't be able to get on with it if it were the only option. I'd never really considered how important it is the the look of the character for me until I'd seen them set so far back. Seeing him all painted up my eyes are drawn to how plain and featureless some areas are (thighs, shoulders, forearms, inner legs)... sigh no point grumbling. I think it's gonna be a get him in hand and make a decision from there situation for me.

Not bad though still below what the US places are charging it for. Can't justify paying triple digits for this... Thank you... As for this latest Starscream I might just wait to get it.

I kept saying that just because MP-51 was on the ground it doesn't mean Takara was trying to be suggestive, they were just trying to show how dynamic the figure is. I said this again and again. So go on, who's going to argue that Starscream is in a suggestive pose?

Hey I bet they will find a way to make a toy looking version, but since less demand probably be a exclusive. And looks like the other will be the TFTMw/coro gear version.

So youre saying the actual wings splits in half to hide the tailfins ? Talk about over-engineering at its finest. Has anybody ever interviewed the original Sunbow animation team to find out if not drawing the tailfins was due to time constraints ? I think Takara has made too many assumptions based on the direction they took the MP line. Should "cartoon accuracy" even acknowledge something that may have never been intended to take literally ? Also its possible to take the tail fins off on the G1 toy in a time when partsforming wasnt frowned upon like it is today. Could it be possible that the Sunbow team removed the tailfins thinking it was the official transformation for the toy ? I think Takara was better off with MP-11 providing the best of both worlds. I bought 12 versions of the MP-11 mold and I have zero intetest in this literal interpretation of the cartoon.

All good. I'm happy with my KO of the last official mp version. There are improvements here but I overall like the previous one. If this one had the same surface detailing and less jet undercarriage, it would be on my to buy list, no question. Face sculpts still look odd to me but not a huge deal.

Like I said, hopefully it will. I just looked at my MP 3.0 pricing from January of 2019 and it was at $320 with shipping. Cost at US Retail stores is $400. That is a much bigger gap compared to SS here where it was literally $15-20 and OP was heavier with a trailer included. Shipping came out to be $8 for me there too so it sounds like shipping went up based on other replies here.

I still went all in and will have to see where things stand in June 2021.

I'm not even sure I want to get into this, but isn't Starscream doing his "just got knocked down by Megatron please god don't kill me" pose from the show while Arcee is doing..."oh my, I'm such a shy young girl who is holding her hand by her mouth because she is so embarrassed for you to see me in this compromised position" which was...not from any show? I could be wrong. I mean, I ain't out in the streets trying to tell people how to pose their figures but that pose is classically suggestive. If you don't think so, cool. Cool. cool. cool.

Also, if you search for Pin Up Poses, you'll find this. Seems pretty cut and dried to me. Pin on .Pin ups photography

Thanks for the correction, so we are looking at around 21600 Yen, shipping included. So that's around 200 USD.

it goes back a bit, but MP-11 was really a re-tool of MP-3 (or vice versa, its confusing) so MP-52 is V.2

The dollar has come some down lately, it was like 208 when I checked earlier.
