Well so much for this new Higurashi being a straight remake lol. With what they’ve revealed in episode 2 and the opening (turns out reusing the old song was a one-time deal) either this is a brand new take or actually a sequel to the original series. I’d rather it not be a sequel since, you know, the original had an ending that doesn’t need to be ripped open. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see though.

There was also Higurashi Kira (2011, 4 episodes anthology), Higurashi Outbreak (2013 1-hour OVA), and the new one currently airing.

I am watching Railgun T again. I love this show. Shokuhou Misaki is just the best.

Hanyō no Yashahime has the best Opening and Endings of this season. Definitely a fan of Setsuna so far, but I bet she'll be the one that gets embarrassed most often as the series goes on. Didn't all the kids grow up with each other though? I wonder if they just all had their memories wiped during that time or something

I so missed Is Your Order a Rabbit, so glad it has another season.

The Day I Became God is going to be another roller coaster like Charlotte and Angel Beats was, isn't it? ... alright, I'm ready for it.

Jujutsu Kaisen is kinda just like another Onmyoji series (what a thing to say), some decent action scenes, but seems like it'll be that mixed in with school life.

Anyone watching Rail Romanesque, Senyoku no Sigrdrifa, Ikebukuro West Gate Park, or Yuukoku no Moriarty, that can tell me how they are and if they're worth watching?

Third season of Is Your Order a Rabbit? finally here, one of my favorite slice of life anime that is both cute and funny. The new OP I still need to get a feel a bit, its hard to top the second seasons OP in my opinion.

Also watched Wandering Witch, I'm surprised Elaina changed her speech patterns between the end of episode 1 and beginning of episode 2. With this shows premise I hope it can at least have that special feeling you have when watching Kino's Journey. The OP and ED is the kind of song to hear when you want to sit back and relax, really feels like its inviting you to another world.

I started watching Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, and was somewhat pleasantly surprised. With a title like that, I was initially expecting another overly fanservice-y series that I'd turn off after one or two episodes. And while there is some fanservice, it doesn't seem like the main draw.

Also, as an aside, Bell's grandfather seems like he was kind of a creep/scumbag/pervert based on the few glimpses into his character so far.

Finished Space Brothers and it’s prequel movie. It ended up being a very endearing, inspirational show. It’s long, no question, but at no point did I ever feel bored while watching it’s 100 episodes.

It does have a bit too much padding though, with most episodes having between 1 and 4 minutes of recap in the beginning, plenty of flashbacks, the 1-2 minute Mr. Hibbit shorts in the later episodes, and the 3 straight up recap episodes in a row from episodes 52 through 54. You could probably trim off a good 10 episodes if all that was cut lol.

But the biggest issue is certainly the lack of an ending. The story just stops, due to catching up to the source material (which explains the padding as well). So much is left unresolved, which is unfortunate. I do hope more will come if the source material ever ends, but I understand someone not wanting to watch such a long series when it has no conclusion.

Even so, I had a great time watching it and do recommend it if it sounds interesting.

It's getting a big screen release at the end of oct as well for one week.

CBR has a confusing history of conan in america. (it misses when fox kids had the rights! Yes fox grabbed the rights first only to find out it had murders! They did nothing with it due to that till they lost the rights. This is why it took so long for it to air on cartoon network!)

Detective Conan's Trickiest Case Is Its Sheer Number of Localizations

Conan has his own gum in japan.
