Look at MP Lio Convoy now .. its practically going for half the original price on Amazon and 3rd party Japanese hobby sites like Mandarake etc. Id say its a wise idea to wait for the same price drop for this new MP Screamer 2.0.

 

If Sideswipe V.2 doesn't atleast maintain these newer articulation methods, I'm going to riot.

It undeniably looks fantastic - however I still can’t say ‘I’m getting him’ as for as good as he looks, we need to know the QC holds up to all those fantastic features and poses.

 

The original MP Greenscream is displayed in alt mode in my office at work currently. No one bats an eye as they assume it's just a model F-15E Strike Eagle.

I suppose I'll have to bring in MP-11 from home to display in bot mode at work. I have a half empty cabinet shelf in the office I can fill up, while this new MP Starscream can take his place in my home display. I recently found the key to the door to my office so I don't have to worry about my stuff walking away either.

Move over pretenders to the throne, the true Masterpiece Starscream has arrived! I probably won't double dip for the alt mode like I usually do unless TT releases a Deluxe coronation set with the crown, cape, and pauldrons using the new updated cartoon V2 mold.

I bought my Lio Convoy for 11K Yen shipped.

 

Skywarp's definitely the main one I want, may pass on Scream just to wait for him... still undecided.

 

Sunstorm colors would look good with this mold. I wonder if Acid Storm would be a possible release too.

They've considerably slowed down on repaints lately. They tend to change things up with redos, if they use this mold for Coneheads maybe a Nacelle repaint?

 

I think I'm in on starscream but may be a stretch for me to afford these two, but time will tell.

 

Looks good, but weren’t their toon faces paler? Almost white?

Only time I recall 'screaner doing some tinkering was Countdown to Extinction with Arkyville's dookickey ...gotta check on that episode. Also, I hope the coronation gear of MP-11 is compatible?

This part I agree with the direction of MP doing the animation route. But it's a given, done deal now. No amount of huffing/puffing and tilting at the windmills is gonna change that ( I know that feeling when comparing ER Ss to this. The mech details of the ER line is quite outstanding. I can just imagine MP Ssv2 with the "details"   ).

 

Space both 6 months apart and none of this TakaraMall exclusivity please!
