I think Takaratomy would eventually repaint the Guard City and Battle Gaia sets, but Id like to think that their priorities would lie in the remaining unreleased Combiners like Liokaiser, Raiden, and etc.

Ah, no. While Guard City isn’t a major change from Defensor, there’s more deco changes and repainted parts than either the Dinobots or Terrorcons. Heck, just going for toy accurate (GC) vs cartoon accurate like UW-03 will give lots of changes.

I would love for them to do them, but I’m not sure what to expect anymore. These last two caught everyone by surprise, after all...
