Ive not tried that method before, but might have to try it.
Havent tried future etc as it doesnt seem a permanent fix, tho please correct me if im wrong.

Ive not needed to tighten thomas's lower elbow yet but you are quite right - that lower arm piece is pretty heavy and maybe thats part of the issue (i had to disassemble and mod the upper elbow joint as it was a little tight for my liking).
in the past what i have done for things like the lower elbow is add a very tiny bit of superglue to the pin/screw or hole (or tab/port) just to thicken it a little and raise the friction, then allow to dry, and reassemble.
Im in the uk and tend to use loctite as it is fantastic for completely threaded screws.

COMPENSATION: THE MOVIE.

 

I don't use Future. I have found that for most loose joints, PVA glue works really well, wont damage the plastic, and is easily removable with water.

 

That’s some good news. I’m waiting for movement on mine.

 

Shuttle mode still my favorite mode. God damn i love holding it and looking at it. Train mode and bot modes are great too, and my son prefers the Train mode the most, so will keep flipping sooner than i would normally do.

And damn each time i look at the beautiful matte gray paint, ohhhh, i just wanna kiss it. Such a nice contrast with the shinny purple. So god damn clean.

I can say i am happy i didnt wait for the Panda mode, cause this is just beautiful, and heck, i can consider buying the Panda too one day if it ever comes out and i can actually get my hands on it.

Again, i feel the only missing thing is a toy head and a smirking face option.

 

In terms of pictures, I honestly love all three modes. The robot is everything I've always wanted from an MP Asty, the train mode looks fantastically detailed with its sleek shiny purple, rivets and working steels joining the wheels. And that shuttle just could NOT look more like the toon. I only wish that little red and yellow door could open; I can almost picture Screamer holding mini-Megs emerging from it, it's that scarily accurate.

 

Zero shipping notification for me, are others in the same boat?

 

It's still the holidays over in China. Even if notifications are going out, they don't mean anything since POs are still closed.

As far as I can tell, you want it that way. It seems like having it switched up would mean much less leeway to bring the panels forward to better accommodate for the fit in both positions. Going off memory but pretty sure that's accurate.
