Well, Khara/Anno didn't like the dub so they got the actors to redub some of it, as confirmed by the voice of Shinji. Currently the release date, for the UK anyway, is February 2nd.
It will feature tang, but not disappointment. That's impossibru.
Oh god no, I was lost for words at the end of 2.22! Thankfully I already have 3.33 in HD, but obviously it's subbed. I need 3.33 on Blu Ray!

Hopefully Funimation or Sentai gets a hold of the NA distribution rights. Anyone but Aniplex.

FUNimation would be the most likely, I mean they already have dubbed the Rebuild films.

Only Aniplex release I have is Fate/Zero on Blu Ray, and it has an amazing dub and was reasonably well priced. However if any company was going to get this it would be Funimation, seeing as they dub the Rebuilds.

I seriously can't contain my excitement for this though, I thought it was never going to happen due to problems with the rights to the show.

I would never consider $140+ reasonable for 13 episodes and some trinkets. And that's just for one volume too.

Well, it's out in Japan now! Looks really good too. Now to wait a decade or so for a release outside of Japan :lol

I really liked the performances in the Netflix dub, especially Shinji's VA. It was more so the scripting that was bad.

I personally was not impressed with them. Mind, if they roll all the dubs on and give us options I’d be okay with that too.

I’m more concerned about the subtitles and Fly Me to the Moon personally.

It’s not the biggest deal to me but I’ve still got my OG DVD collection of the show so I’m quids in either way.

Same here. Bluray upgrades are nice, but not if it changes the original beyond just remastering.

And even then, I'm not always too much of a fan. I much prefer my dvd of Vampire Hunter D than the Bluray.
