Well the one good thing is this comes out so soon after Volcanicus, not 6 months apart like most Combiners. Hopefully this will leave time for a new selects release still to come later in 2021.

 

As someone who didn’t own the original set and wasn’t satisfied with it. This works perfectly for me.

Looks pretty dang good. Iirc, I passed the first time because I wanted to get them all in one set. Now I finally can! Plus he, y\'know, looks nicer.

 

I’m really hoping that we will get a redone version of that “Platinum Edition” ,if you call it that, liokaiser. I mean they are already updating combiners now so if that was to happen I would be in heaven

 

As expected, Hun-Gurrr gets the lion's share of the treatment. The recoloured combiner head and new chest piece are nice, but the other Terrorcons' changes are practically insignificant. The extra purple guns are odd (where do they go in combined form?) and I don't need a copy of Snaptrap's gun when I already bought Matrix Workshop's Sonic Stun Gun last month. I just can't justify the expense of this set for such a small change. If however there was a KO version of Hun-Gurr or even just a KO of the combiner head and chest piece, I'd be all over that.

This is the most "meh" reveal I've seen in a long time...

 

Hun-Guur and the new chest look great to me

but literally what...

the other individuals are way less different than I expected them to be. Its like a weird mix of toy accuracy and toon accuracy that doesn't quite look right.

Awesome I don't have to try and get rid of my custom toon accurate Terrorcons then!

But I'm still going to get this because I like combiners and its honestly a problem...

 

just care about the combiners head, hands and feet, thats what I would have wanted in the first place, but not goign to spend 200 bucks for it , since I have the original already. I would have waited for this one had I known but now that I have the original version, no, just no at at that price .

 

I'm easily sold. Buying two sets. And still keeping my two sets of POTP, and my two sets of Prime Terrorcons. Can't have too many Terrorcons!

I collected the POTP version and then I bought the third party feet, hands, and guns. I cannot see buying this again just for different paint apps...

I skipped Volcanicus, have the original and he has issues

I wanted God Neptune and tried but damn it if finances don't suck, not fully but could be better right now

I may just actually bite the bullet and get this... I am overdue on a pricey Transformer figure now
