yeah, that looks miles better IMO than what is shown in the online stores. Would have totally picked him up recently if I had known that. Now to wait until January...the rest of the year’s budget is taken up.

 

I wager those shitty photos are the only reason he isn't sold out across the board. I do wonder if MMC realise what is really good and what is just barely acceptable abt the lane they chose.

buddy theres been thousands of pictures and hundreds of reviews, theres not a single reason to whine about stock images that never look 100% right on any toy. You could've found it out just through google or youtube. Or look on this website for other people's pictures? This thread is full of in hand pics. No excuses.

I don’t frequent this thread much since my excitement was killed the moment I saw those test shots  .

 

No need to bite the guys head off. But for my instance, as I said above, after those original photos, I lost interest hard. Then I didn’t have any funds for a while for TFs, so everything kind of dropped off radar for me.

 

A bit unnecessarily harsh and also incorrect. "Toon" repaints are all the rage so one should check these things. Jinbao Bruticus swapped out translucent parts for matte finishes. MMC specifically never saw a finish they couldn't make more plain. This guy doesn't come with the drift cloak as the first edition did, and Tony at Robotoybase said it was a matte finish so that's good reason to think a matte finish is out there. Stop looking for opportunities to be a douchekettle bruh. And you're right there are no excuses that's why he's in the mail to me from PSX. Tony was wrong on this one and cost himself a sale. Looks like you're gonna have to exalt yourself this time no one gonna do it for you (just playin man I don't care)

 

Would you go with an upsized version with the die-cast? That's my dream for MMC which I know probably won't happen.

 

I definitely would. It seems like all of the MMC figures around the $100 price point are all the same height which doesn't work out scale-wise. I hope that in hand Optus Pexus is a little shorter than Cylindrus.

Got this the other day. He's smaller than I'd like but I can deal. Now we just need an MMC Ratchet and the trifecta will be complete.

 

Is this guy being reissued? Saw he had a listing on BBTS with a release of February 2021 but haven't seen him on any schedules that MMC released. Hope he is coming out since I missed getting him.
