As a MLP collector, I'm begging you to throw me any other scraps of info you can remember. I can't find anyone covering it. :(

    So the statement reads:
“We are in deep development along with our partners at Paramount on the 7th Live Action Feature of the Transformers Franchise. Slated to release in Summer 2022. The next blockbuster film will bring action-packed, high adventure from the lore which will thrill audiences worldwide and will continue to propel the franchise forward.”
So from just looking at this from the jump: ("We are in deep development") So they have been working on this film even throughout the virus, and the only way this is possible is if they have been working on this film from home, so it would haft to be CGI.
Next: ("The next blockbuster film will bring action-packed, high adventure from the lore")
When the word "Lore" is used, it typically means deep history. So the film will most likely be a transformers deep beginnings story.
    Next:
    20201006_160214.jpg
First let's take a look at the Transformers font used. The font being used is clearly Not Bayvers, or Bumblebee Movie style font. In fact the font is actually in a style that we have never seen in a transformers live action movie before.
Next: the Transformers Logo: This is an updated Classically toned, Crispy, Clean Autobot logo, with the 80's Space Chrome, and Heavy Metal Glow.
Next: The background screams Deep Space, with the milkyway deep space matter flowing all through it.
So my final assessment is that this will be a BRAND NEW Transformers Deep Beginnings Movie done in all Cinematic CGI, using brand new G1 heavily inspired designs. The story will take place completely in space, most likely Cybertron. And will tell the story of how it all started, how the great war started, and how the Autobots and Decepticons factions came to be Born. I think we are actually witnessing the start of a brand new Transformers Live Action Film Series.

Trust me, you’re not the only person who doesn’t like Cyberverse. I might as well be happy for people who do get their continuation, but I can’t help but feel a little bitter that they get two movies while Animated just got left on its unfinished story.

I just hope Cyberverse doesn’t do the idea of a crossover with other shows that some people have talked about, because I really like the idea but I’d hate to see it wasted on a show as... not my favorite... as Cyberverse.

I like animated too, but Cyberverse is actually pretty fun and Animated probably still has more content. Cyberverse were only 11 min episodes.

Sorry, but that's the bayverse logo and most certainly not the classic logo - you can tell by the eyes.

The true classic symbol has flat eyebrows
    [IMG]

Bayverse/movie changed it up by making it more dynamic and sharper in the lines, the forehead crest is a triangle instead of a Trivial Pursuit slice, and the biggest difference is that it's 'angry eyed' by slanting the eyebrows down slightly.

    what's wrong with Bumblebee?
Although your point may sound interesting, I don't see a need of another series.

Let's take a look at this from your average movie watcher perspective:

You walked out of Bumblebee, ready to see more sequels and know that now Bayverse is no more.

Then in 2022 you see new trailer set on Cybertron, and think cool a backstory!

Then you watch it and realize that it's not Bumblebee prequel and are now confused at what's happening.

Hasbro doesn't want to confuse people like this, they want to make as much money as possible from pre-existing universe.

It will be like Marvel making two universes of their same characters, it would just confuse people

I'm pretty sure that anime simply refers to all animation from a Japanese studio. Anime is simply the shortform for "animation" while manga simply means (Japanese) comics I says this because there is a weird thing going on with some Transformers cartoons where they are being animated by Japanese studios. For example, Transformers: Prime was animated by Polygon Pictures so technically even if it was made for a western audience it could be considered an anime - more so when you think about it is a Japan-made show with a Japanese dub available. Polygon Pictures also partly worked on WfC.

The problem with Netflix is that it loves jumping on social bandwagons. For example, anime is reaching a wider audience these days, so they invest in "original" anime; Korean dramas are popular (for now) so they distribute more Korean dramas and even create their own "original" shows. SO what does this mean for Transformers? It means that simply because it has a Japanese studio affiliated with it they want to call it an anime, probably to reach the aforementioned wider audience because "anime" is a lot catchier than "cartoon".

I enjoyed Power Rangers growing up, and really enjoyed the last movie, so it's a shame we're getting an unnecessary reboot. The only thing such a movie can improve on are the costumes and Megazord.

My biggest issue with Power Rangers is that there is too much love for Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Yes, it started it all, but although I grew up with that show the Power Rangers universe is vast. It's fine to love MMPR, but there's too much love, we had had the movie and now the reboot and comics with spin-offs all about MMPR. Where is the love for the other series? In a world that loves Harry Potter why haven't we had more attention from Mystic Force? Lightspeed Rescue has a of potential with the theme being emergency services. There's so much potential and it's being wasted.

Part of the appear of the two big tokusatsu - Super Sentai and Kamen Rider is how it does something new literally every single year. It's not the same thing year after year. Power Rangers on TV is still an American show with re-used Japanese footage, but the only original media from them is all MMPR. Hasbro is all about catering to children, yet they didn't bother adapting the one series about children using their imagination as the source of their power. Make that into a comic book.

Yes your absolutely correct about it being the new updated Autobot style logo that was used in the Bayvers. I personally fill like this is the standard live action movie Autobot logo that Hasbro will use in all Transformers live action properties. When I was saying Classic, I was referring to the overall tone, and have fixed my comment to better reflect that.

Nothings wrong with the Bombalbee movie, I just really believe that if they do more with that story, it's going to be in the form of a Prequel set long before the events of that movie. Hasbro may not want to film anything taking place on earth for quite some time. And in the meantime they can create a franchise of transformers movies all taking place in space, and maybe even have them lead up to the events of the Bombalbee movie. That would actually be fantastic!

I'm pretty sure the Bay symbols weren't used in the Bumblebee movie

I never had an issue with the Bay symbols TBH. I actually kinda liked the Decepticon one. I do like the 80's chrome effect on it, though.

Why not just be part of the Bumblebee universe?
It could perfectly have prequel movies

I wouldn't read too much into the banner, the logo, the description, or the font. Initially I thought the Autobot logo might be evidence against it being a Beast Wars movie...but that's probably not the case. They probably just used that logo because it's the most recognizable logo in the brand. You have to keep in mind that this banner exists to add a generic Transformers-related visual to the presentation. It's probably not intended to be deciphered. I would guess the designer has no idea what the story or premise even is.

The Bumblebee movie did use almost entirely "normal" non-Bayverse style symbols (aside from the credits sequence/animation, which I think mixed normal and Bayverse ones up a bit), but iirc a couple Bayverse ones did slip in to the movie itself, such as on the missile Blitzwing fires at Bee and the Sector 7 guys:
bumblebee movie blitzwing missile bayverse style decepticon emblem.PNG
Also, Bumblebee's head is actually the one example that's not the best choice to use, because interestingly enough, Bayverse Bumblebee's head insignia is one of the vanishingly few examples of "normal" non-Bayverse in the Bay movies:
