Yeah I have 29 and am tempted by 29+ since I love the color. But I need to stay strong.

 

Does anybody have a MP-29+ shockwave there wanting to sell? Im looking to buy one, im in the US

 

They seem to have dried up. Only ones I see are used ones in eBay. Looking for new.

Why did I take so long. Has TT ever reissued Mall Ex’s??

 

I don't think Takara have reissued TTMall exclusives but that wouldn't stop Hasbro Asia from doing their own separate release. The original run of MP-11SW was Hasbro Asia only, and I think maybe Hasbro Asia did their own reissue of MP-8X?

 

This is where I got mine from if you choose to buy it new. And when I got mine airmail was still suspended. So I had to pay for EMS shipping which was 52 bucks. Oh well, it is what it is and I just closed my eyes and paid it. You might in a better position if they have resumed airmail to the US. Guys, how do you attach the fusion cannon on MP36+?

I tried sliding the cannon like I did with the toon version but somehow it won’t slide on to his arm fully? Am I doing something incorrectly?

 

Should go on the same way as it does with the regular MP-36. Maybe a bit more friction with the chrome.

But don't try to slide the cannon down from the top of the elbow, if that's what you're doing. It won't go all the way down that way (or it shouldn't, unless you're using an excessive amount of force, in which case you're risking damaging the cannon and/or the forearm).

The starting point for sliding on the cannon is midway down the forearm, so that you're engaging the four locking sections simultaneously.

I’m in the same boat. I recently decided to find this guy new. The cheapest I can find MP-29+ is at Nippon Yasan for 30500 yen (around 288 US dollars). With ferry shipping, it should come out to little over $300.

I couldn’t bring my self to buy it because 1) Nippon Yasan has been a bastard to it’s customers with customer service from hell and 2) the price is beyond reasonable.

I don’t know if Hasbro Asia will re-issue this guy or not, but If they do, I am going to hate myself for buying at a mark up from NY.

I didn't realize the price had gone up on this guy. To be fair, the original retail was already pretty high. I think it was in the $225-250 range.

But yeah, after redoing my TF collection, Shockwave and Rumble/Frenzy are the lone survivors of my MP purge. Not gonna sell that guy.

My memories of Shockwave mainly come from the G1 toy and the Marvel Comics series, in which he was an absolute badass, so I have no problems with him towering over everyone else.

Yeah, I grew up with the G1 Marvel Shockwave too and he was an absolute monster. I didn't think about using the MP Shockwave for CHUG collection - I might do that as I'm planning to purge my MP collection as I realised that I can't stand the hyper cartoon aesthetics.

 

Got this today, absolutely amazing!! I did, however, have one very small but annoying issue.

I got two of the toon screaming faces and none of the toon normal expression, which is my favorite one. While I got this for toy mode, I did intend to use that particular face along with the toon chest plate from time to time.

Does anybody that has this want to swap my yelling face for the stock toon face? Or sell it to me? If so please PM me.
