\"The next blockbuster film will bring action-packed, high adventure from the lore which will thrill audiences worldwide and will continue to propel the franchise forward\"

...couldnt have told us anything about it? Is it going to be that live action Beast Wars movie we heard about? Bumblebee sequel? another Bayformers? I know we got bits here and there that tell us about the movies but man they really pulled out the most generic explanation for this one, we cant even tell what one they\'re talking about.

When did the term \"anime\" stop referring to a very specific style of Japanese animation, and start meaning just \"cartoon\"?

Should that say “Stated that Season 1 Siege was a success”?

After the lackluster or downright bad Transformers media the past year, the only one I'm actually looking forward to is the next live-action film which is funny considering just before Bumblebee, we had the worst chain of Transformers films. I really hope Bumblebee wasn't just a fluke.

Neat, I remeber when a Cyberverse TV movie was leaked.

I wonder where it will fall when in comes to TV movies, Will it be awesome like TFA\'s Transform and Rollout, or will it suck dick like Predicons rising.

When people found out that in Japan, where the word originated, it just means cartoon.
    Or more specifically, anything animated.

I hope I\'m not alone in being glad that Cyberverse is getting a little bit more screentime. That series was a pleasant surprise, especially given the lackluster start that it had, coupled with the short running time per episode.

Great news on 2 Cyberverse movies. I loved the show and it worked best with multiparters, so the creators were not pushed by time limits.
Sad to hear this Pony Life nonsense is the new "G5". I couldn't watch but a few episodes to get turned off of it.
Looking forward to the D&D movie. With the sudden release of a Drizzt do'Urden figure, I have to wonder if they are maybe finally doing what I had hoped for ages, a movie version of the first books.

It didn't. For some weird reason despite being written in the USA and also animated there by the Rooster Teeth studio (who do RWBY and GenLock) they insist calling it an anime. I think it is just so they get more attention.
And yeah, anime is just animation/cartoon in japanese. For them, it just means that. For the west, it means japanese styled animation. In my book, only stuff that is both written AND animated in Japan is anime. Otherwise we could even call the 1986 Transformers movie anime. :)

Because those Bayformer films made fat wads. $4.8 billion.

How the heck are they going to put out a live action movie in 2022? Unless they've already gotten everything set up for filming the moment they can start, which is highly unlikely given there's been no news whatsoever about castings, etc., and the fact film productions simply get shut down the moment somebody tests positive for you-know-what, this is an insanely tight window for turning around from absolutely nothing to a finished product in less than two years unless it's "live action" in the same sense that Lion King remake was 'live action' - it's photorealistic but there isn't actually any live action in what is simply a really fancy looking all-CGI movie'.

Divided by five films that's less than $1 billion per film...and TLK nearly destroyed Paramount with a negative net loss of an estimated $100 million. On top of killing the HuaHua media contract that was supposed to fund more Paramount films, which gave Hasbro the opening to get a greater stake of control in the representation of their own product.

    Bayverse is dead.

I imagine that, rather than new material, the two "TV movies" for Cyberverse are the existing two four-part stories, "Battle for Cybertron" and "End of the Universe," which aired as hour-long specials upon their first broadcast in the US.
