yeah, I ended up throwing away
those tabs in my original warbotron limbs. simpler decombination .

 

My original Warbotron bought used one year ago. He seems built for war and all joints are sturdy and combiner very stable. I was afraid to insert limbs but everything worked OK, never with fear of breaking some ports.
Maybe grease is more when you insert Jinbao Warbotron arms and legs,that is a little scary.

 

I had a 4th party ko of this guy before ib got the official version. The og warbotron is extremely well built and tolerances are perfect. I wouldn't hand it off to an 8 year old but to run him through his different modes should not be an issue.

 

Just Recombined my og warbotron last weekend. They’d been hanging out in bot mode with my idw chugs for some time and got a little stale. When I combined them I remembered how much I really love the set.

 

I may be looking to sell my Warbotron set if anyone is looking for one.

Just saw that email from BBTS ... for that price, I had to finally cave. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this guy but haven’t been following too closely because of the price.

 

What did this set originally sell for years ago? $150 seems surprisingly cheap for a 3rd party combiner of this size. I may have to finally get him.

Can someone tell me the height of him in combiner mode as well as the individual bot heights? Thanks

 

MSRP of $479.99. Bruticus is about 18". About the same size as Devastator from Hasbro Combiner Wars/Takara Unite Warriors.
I preordered one. He'll be my 2nd combiner.
(Menasor, Superion, Defensor and maybe Predaking left to go for me)

 

Wow! That is a fantastic deal for this set. I got lots of love for this combiner and I think you'll like it. There are some QC issues and the engineering does seem dated compared to what's out there these days. But I really dig his shelf presence.

I've got the WB02 Computron with the brown box, sold few months ago by BBTS, like Bruti, now. I have seen major differences on paintings (really awful) and joints on some bots, between the original Warbo and this copy.
For combined mode exposure, yes. For individuals bots, if this set is like the previous, nope...
For 150 $, don't be surprised.
But certainly better plastic quality than the KO's oversized version.

 

To the tip of Vortex's gun, maybe. He's only about 14" tall.

 

Thanks. From what I can, he’s easily worth this price ($165+ tax for him and the gun set). I’m not concerned about the dated engineering so I’m just hoping the QC isn’t horrible. Anything in particular I should watch for? I know Vortex (I believe) had 2 different versions because he had an issue at first. No clue which version is included in this set.

 

Anybody have pictures of this guy with Maketoys Giant and/or Fansproject Menasor?
I want to see how he scales before I pull the trigger.
I'd love to replace my Energon/Fansproject Bruticus
