comparing it to prime1 and 3zero premium... do you guys think his head is just a tad smaller than the others? i feel the others may be slightly better proportioned, or is it just me?

It's not just you. The head looks pretty bad for something that's $2600+. Glad I passed on this figure after almost placing an order for it. It's just too awkward looking overall.

That shoulder joint sticking out also doesn't look too good. Paintjob on this is way too dusty and chalk like as well.

Do we have a running tally of how many tfw2005 posters are in on this? I could afford this after 2 weeks of work, but I'm not gonna. ;)  Just really curious.

Also, this OP is doing his impression of Shin Gojira with the head/neck thing.

I like how you can replace all the solid parts with translucent parts to see all the inside details.

if only I could buy such a thing. :(

This. I mean, do I have to break the bank and go to Prime 1 studio for a bayverse representation? I'm pretty sure there are a lot of fans who are looking forward for more characters from the first Bay trilogy be those Yolopark or Threezero style. Let's be honest, considering the success the DLX line has had so far it's clear that transformers is by far their forte. Problem is they're working on 50 different lines at once :redface2:

For something this expensive it better be flawless, especially since it doesn't transform. This is just all kinds of wrong looking though.

So I've heard but it's been so long since those news, more than a year and 0 updates so far.

We saw a prototype in May 2020. It’s been only 5 months

The one next to DLX Soundwave, right? Yeah but we barely saw anything. I'm talking about some official updates. As far as we know it might take another year for a full reveal.

This, I'm not seeing the extra 2 grand over the 24" 3A. I get the better engineering but I want it to go with a proper looking bot. Proportions look all wacky.

Anyone heard any more updates on this guy?? I did the preorder.. looking forward to him!

Questions I do have..(1) seeing the proto is almost all 3d printed and they say its not going to be a normal assembly line set up.. is each one 3d printed and most of the work is sanding/painting?

    (2) They mention plastics but also brass and super alloys.. be cool to know the % of metals to plastic in this guy! Also I hope the gears are metal or at least the major high stress ones are. All I can see from newest photos is that souls of feet look diecast..

    (3) Updates.. folks are willing to throw a lot of cash at these.. those same folks are taking a significant risk with a relatively unknown company.. why isn't there more updates or back and forth? Months of silence just makes buyers jittery at best and will effect the final number of sales..

Try not to bump threads especially ones that are inactive for months. If there’s an update, we’ll discuss it. You don’t have to go on here asking for updates and assume someone will miraculously have an update and decided to not say it here.
And I have no updates and most likely people here don’t as well. Subscribe the thread so that you’ll be alerted when there’s an actual update
