Rejoice 11ers! Mine arrived today! Positive first impressions out of the box. Hip joints are much less wobbly than the official out of the box. I know that might change with use. I think the ass screw on mine might have come pre-loosened. That tab on the ab crunch is not grabbing at all. Which if I can’t tighten, I’m fine with that. Just glad it’s not stuck. Matte finish looks good. Not really much of a downgrade IMO, just a different look.

He’s going to need some work though. Tabs on the back of the knees are intact but the upper knee joint is simply too stiff and the lower joint is giving first. Going to try to loosen those screws. Going to have to paint the dead eyes of course, I got a gundam marker off eBay two months ago for that. Tabs holding the leg halves together don’t seem to be grabbing at all, going to have to future those and hope it helps. Also will need to fix the face/neck swap gimmick and straighten the antenna on two of the heads. The curve is not bad on them at all, but they bend inward slightly on the S2 head and you can’t see they’re there at all.

All of these adjustments were expected, and within my skill set. Looking forward to working on him and bringing him up to scratch. I think once all these little improvements are made, he’ll be great.

    Las Vegas.

To clarify in case it's confusing anyone--Mine and Daddytron's posts are referring to the same figure; I bought it, and he picked it up from me earlier today.

Gundam marker worked to perfection. Very metallic, nearly chrome effect to the eyes like MT and FH does on most of their MP stuff and FT used to do. I like the look of the gx-17 painted eyes better than the official.

The top screw stripped on the damaged head so might not be able to paint that one at all. Which I was slightly on the fence about doing anyway. Can’t find a rubber band anywhere in the house so can’t get the eyes out of that one now anyway.

Started reading the marvel US/UK run this week and decided to try and recreate this scene as best I could.

I really love this figure. I decided to keep him just for posing, I'm not going to transform him.
I've got a TE-01 for playing around with and he's a great figure and all, but to me he's a bit to chunky for my taste (was actually a bit disapointed when I got him after all the great things people say about him). The MP-44 KO has more of a heroic look, just like Optimus in the movie.

BTW, my tracker says my KO will be here by the 10th. Can't wait... to fix it! :p

I'm being told the second batch is available right now near me here in China. However, I am still waiting for someone else to do a review of it. I don't want to be the first one haha. We'll see.

I received mine Saturday evening, too. I opened him up and did a quick once over. Everything looks as to be expected. I may just be selling him off though, as I am too busy to do many of the fixes and he’ll just be stored away. If anyone is interested, pm me.

I spent an hour or so working on stuff and am very pleased with the results. Haven’t tried to transform him yet though.

On a related note, I got a nasty stress mark near a hinge on the sides of his legs trying to open them to future the leg tabs and slots. The hinge attached to the side panels of the cab that goes inside the calves. Those just will not come out. Did anybody else have trouble with this?

Just got JJ-01 in the mail today, and now I'm curious to see if the KO’s head connection could fit on him. But I’m also too frightened to try and do the transfer.

I’ve tried the fix in the pdf to straighten the antennas and they’re still bent. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Could someone maybe make a video showing how to do it?
