Yeah, these are definitely not Legends as we use the term today. In fact, they’re not even Legends as we used to use the term, as those figures tended to be 7-8 cm tall. At 5.8 cm, this is an excitingly tiny size to me. I certainly wouldn’t mind updated Armada Mini-Cons like the Star Saber at this size.

I don’t need Ravage to fit in his chest, and I didn’t think that was likely.

Still, I would prefer to have a Soundwave with one CassetteCon versus none at all.

Then again, I’d of course prefer even more if Ravage turned into a Gauntlet or Shield for Soundwave to wield, but I know that is even more unlikely!

Besides, even if it doesn’t fit exactly, you could still pose SoundWu jumping out of SiegeBlaster’s chest, just like Xzibit would want it.

Yeah, it is kinda odd that they’d start with Wave and not Blaster, but I presume there are more folks familiar with Season 3 vs the first part of JG1, The Headmasters.

Still, I would figure that Dr Wu would release repaints, much like with their accessory weapons.

Goodness me, that is one teeny little Soundwave. Imagine how tiny his cassettes would be! I kinda want ikle bitty Ravage and Laserbeak and Co now! 

 

To be fair, the terms been used for both

Legion was used for a fairly short period in comparison

 

Galvy doesn’t really do it for me, but the ankle ball joints and toy head totally do here!
Most fun aspect is of course coming up with a name for the new size class  

 

Can someone pose a micromaster next to Scorponoks head like in the Dr Wu solicitation photo and post up a pic for a visual on the scale of these teeny weenies?

Soundblaster with Galvatron and a Soundwave with a Megatron or Starscream would be cool. A Ghost Starscream and Soundwave set be appropriate for Trypticon.
It'd be nice to have a two pack designed for each Titan. Like a Rodimus and Ultra Magnus for Metroplex and a Chromedome and Brainstorm for Fortress Maximus.

 

soundwave looks a little porky… but might get him anyway given the micro-size, pending price of course.

 

The extra small size works for me. Hopefully we get some micromasters to replace the shitty hasbro ones

 

The only thing currently that I wish they could've changed was giving holes in the fist for a tiny blaster.
It is nice they gave Soundwave his shoulder cannon though.

Since there's a term of oversized, this could the start of undersized legends   

 

Need Windblade, Prime & Megs so they can conversate with giants. Seekers would also be cool for attacking citybots in their jet modes for scale correctness.

 

Nah, I\'ll stick with my WST Soundwave thanks, which, if I remember rightly, had an opening chest that took WST Ravage...

Admittedly, WST Ravage is a highly suggestive squiggle that looks more like the Loch Ness Monster than a cat.

WST Steeljaw isn’t so bad, though.

If the Doctor sweetens the pot with some CassetteCons, then that’s a less bitter pricing at $30.

If it was $30 for both, that’d of course be a no brainer, maybe even at $40 for both.

It’s also odd that Soundwave has a listing but Galvatron doesn’t, yet

 

Yikes $30 seems high. I don't even see weapons or other items.
