I always wanted to turn my Deluxe Megatron into Megastorm so Megatron could have an idiot younger brother. The mold was good but the arms were terrible! Base figure was a Ultimate Battle Megatron. Arms came from a donor "Evergreen" small Megatron. About the right size for this custom and works almost perfectly for him. Had to pull off the arms of the smaller Megatron then saw off all the end points to get it into a shape that would fit into the original figures arms. I then used a Xacto Knife to make the ball joint hole big enough to slide it into place. It's amazing how simple it was to make this custom. Edit: Adding tank mode pics to the OP.
Sure, its not that interesting and I'll probably have to add some paint to make him look better. Yes you're right! its that one.
Great work. I always thought this figure had one of the best head sculpts for a Megatron toy. I just wished he were bigger. Love the light piping on it. Have you tried to see if his alt mode can be secured in Full Tilt's position on Titans Returns Trypticon's chest? The Botcon magazine showed Gigastorm, Trypticon's retool, as armour for Megastorm.
It needs repainting, such as purple stripes, face "tattoo" and a Predacon symbol. Right now, it doesn't look like Megastorm to me at all.
