Honestly, those model kits look kinda nifty.

I may have to cave and grab a few. Not Flame Toys quality, but they'd still fit in well enough.

They're smaller than FT's kits. Bumblebee is about two and a half heads shorter than his SS figure. There's a review thread for him here: SK-01 trumpeter Bumblebee model kit

Those statues look amazing. Windblade especially, she looks beautiful... Too bad I probably can't afford any of them, nor do I have the space. Shame

But those trumpeter model kits though, can't wait to get them!

She's about as "sexy" as the Flametoys design. So possibly expect some whining from the same group who complained about that as well.

How long is this event going on for and are any MP's likely to manifest, or has that boat already sailed?

Wonderfest usually goes for the weekend, and there's pretty much zero chance of MPs debuting. Again, this isn't a toy trade fair. This is a hobbyist convention. And certainly not at the Shanghai version of the event.

In the Japanese version of the event, sometimes the larger manufacturers will attend to preview some of their wares as well, but even then, it's usually more on-theme for the event, like how Good Smile Company often previews their Figma action figure series there. "Engineering-type" toys, like Transformers or Soul of Chogokin, I think pretty much never. Definitely no Gunpla -- and I mean specifically Gunpla. Plamo in general is a maybe, especially for more fledgling companies/lines looking to get the word out. I think Flame Toys has had stuff there in the past. And Trumpeter here. But in general, it's more sculptural-type stuff, from what I normally see.

Still in development. They never really set any particular timeline, but we saw their design revision a couple of months ago.

So folk speculating there's a chance the new Starscream may be seen alongside a new MP reveal are referring to the Japanese event, not this one? When is that, later on this winter?

I can never keep track of which Japanese event is which, and which ones TakaraTomy usually attends. But Starscream would definitely be at one of the Japanese events, and not the Chinese ones. The one exception here is that the MPMs have consistently been revealed at Chinese events as of late (but again, not WonderFest. I think they've been at Transformers-specific fan events), due to the very strong fandom for the live-action films in that region.

The Optimus Bludgeon and Starscream statues are around 2.5 feet tall and only range from $1580 at the least to $2085 at the most. So that's like 3-4 MP-44's.

Takara Tomy have usually attended the following conventions:

    - Tokyo Toy Show
    - Wonder Festival
    - Super Festival

There might be some smaller ones, but those are the main ones (excluding their own "in-house" conventions).

    Windblade is an odd choice?

Man I hope these Azure peeps make a Brainstorm.

Also, not a fan of busts (or bayverse) so I'll wait to see what else Queen Studios come out with since they said they would do some G1 stuff.
