Yeah, those horror statues are complete crap, imho... so I think it best to just ignore each other. We’re definitely not going to agree on much. Ta!

I still have no idea how people get an o-face vibe out of what is obviously the mischief/cat smile.

That's not something I really want to dwell on too much, but It's because the tongue is sculpted as hanging out of the mouth. It's not very ambiguous if you actually have the head sculpt in hand, rather than just seeing a head-on view of it.

A BFB Nautica would be great. But I hope her design won't have too many references to geek culture :lol

Yeah I'm going to have to say that, along with 'Windblade' here, Nautica and Slipstream would be my most wanted. Slipstream has at least gotten a few toys, but it's a downright crime that neither of them has a really out-of-the-park figure. I'd especially like a Slipstream that's a bit more unique than "female Starscream/Seeker" in terms of design.

And speaking of Con fembots and characters in great need of a good figure, Airachnid could really use some redemption.

I do agree with wanting Airachnid but I think I'd take a Thunderblast first because she has even less representation. Plus if they could pull off a boat form without becoming a shell-former I think that would be their chance. Also throw in a "mermaid" mode for chuckles.

Really I'd take any Fem-Cons so long as they arent Fracture/Crasher, like Strika.

Minor addition to my comment above: I think it would be neat if BFB did Arcee, Windblade, Nautica, and Chromia (IDW) first then did Con counterparts such as Nightbird, Slipstream, Thunderblast, and Flamewar afterwards. I would suggest another pattern with Victorion and Megatronia but I dont think the designers are ready for that task just yet

I mean Iron Factory’s Slipstream kinda is that... albeit she’s just a villainous remold of Windblade as a Seeker... :p

Strika would definitely be dope! I’d imagine a BFB Strika would be pretty smooth, a bit like the WarFrame Hildryn, ultimately.

Don’t forget Stardrive! Though, instead of having a villainous counter part, just sell one as a Space Knight and another as a Dire Wraith.

I'd rather hear talk of expectations of ideas about tha Scarlet Princess Figure, than stuff about whatever else has nothing to do with this toy. :(

we were doing so well for a minute there. :lol

    What happened, Boredom?

Hopefully it's taken as a compliment that we're so pleased with what's been shown so far that we can't help imagining the possibilities of the line.

Oh man, Thunderblast and Strika would be cool. And yeah, I'd see Strika as a kind of... buff looking fembot? Like Zarya from Overwatch or Gray She Hulk from Marvel Comics. I do hope BFB's fembots all look different, and not just Nicee wearing different armor/kibble/paint.

Like I would hope "Scarlet Princess" here ends up with a different... er... body type? For lack of a better term. I'd think more lithe for Windblade, but that might just be me.

Personally I can't think of much to talk about until we get some new pictures. You've said the model has been significantly reworked since the old render and silhouette. So most speculation would just be wild guessing. :p

Agreed but yeah, I guess in absence of any actual details, the mind wanders. While I wouldn't mind an Airachnid or even a Slipstream, I'd prefer this thread stay on Windblade cuz that's the actual topic of the thread.

As for expectations, no idea. I like some of what I saw in that old render but I thought the plane mode was lacking. I just hope they're able to pull off a transformation where the kibble looks as nice as it does on Nicee. If they have to use a similar parts forming feature, I'd accept that.

Sometimes I hate having patience. Especially, when folks share things with you that you badly want to post, but can't. :(

Especially the new Nicee redeco/remold Concepts.

I hate secrets sometimes. :lol  But, I must stay dependable and loyal. :)

*hopes Tenxing announces the stuff soon. images are starting to burn holes in my hard drive* :lol

Same here. I figure I'm in the minority, but part of what sold me on Nicee was the great looking alt mode. I hope that Windblade ends up with a similarly great looking alt mode, that still looks right for the character. Though ideally without so much contortionist robot on the bottom, because jet.
